06/05/2025: Paid nearly €20 for a cold salmon and small salad just to get food poisoning an hour later. Filthy glasses,chowder and soup was watery and very poor value if i could rate a 0 star i would. Very poor, do not recommend, stay safe,eat somewhere else

26/08/2025: Food is really bad, you ask for a burger with No onions and they put onions on it, with a tiny scrape of mayo, the lettuce looks gone off, the chips can be very dry, some of the staff need to be taught how to smile & bloody listen, I'm always surprised to see so many people in there when I pass but obviously they don't mind eating junk

27/08/2025: Went here for food after visiting the dinosaur park today. The staff were very nice, in particular the front of house lady with blonde hair and glasses. However, the food is really poor. My son got the toddler sausage and chips, it was luke warm and definitely reheated. The chips were hard as rocks and the sausages were like rubber. I got the chicken fillet burger, the chips again were like rocks, the chicken was so dry and my garlic mayonnaise had a full clove of garlic in it that must of gotten missed in the blender. The menu had lots of options for both children and adults. Food way overpriced for the quality.

27/07/2025: Takeaway only, not eat-in. Used to be better. The side of saag paneer had almost no paneer in it at all. Maybe three or four cubes. The poppadoms that used to come free with the food is now…one poppadom. There are about three large prawns in a king prawn dish and a huge amount of sauce which is too much based on the quantity of protein. Feels like the cost accountants have been in.

Food was delicious but the delivery driver seemed to be under immense pressure and commented saying we we took 5 minutes to collect the food even though he had called us 2 minutes prior to say the food was here. Driver came across as arrogant and forgot to give us the second can of Coca Cola.
06/08/2025: I had a chicken kebab, and besides being a very generous and well-seasoned portion, it was very good. Excellent service.

09/07/2025: Ordered a simple don kebab loaded fries, but don't eat mayo so asked for it without mayo, just hot sauce. This was at c. 00.15. Got it the complete opposite way around, dosed with mayo and no hot sauce. Went back in after discovering mistake and was told nothing they could do as that was last order and ovens/fryers turned off. This was at c. 00.30, and they've advertised that they're open until 1am! Had to leave and just throw food in bin.

17/08/2025: There were unidentifiable stains on my pillow. The walls had a nice pattern of mold and you couldn’t go to the toilet in the room cause the smell of the bathroom would knock you out. Luckily the location was good that we could avoid going back to the ‘hotel’ until the early hours of the morning, and by then it was time for the best part of the place…the door out! Spend the extra few bob and get an actual hotel

08/06/2025: Two bags of chips and two chicken tender portions, about €25, should be ashamed of the bags of chips handed out at full price and absolutely ICE cold not even lukewarm.
07/05/2025: Had the misfortune of eating here recently. Food very poor, chicken wrap with bacon cheese chips. Wrap was like paper, chicken was rubbery. Chips were ok. Price outrageous for the very poor quality food. Honestly it's very poor, I should have known by the previous reviews but I was hungry and it was late. Will not return.

04/07/2025: En un viaje reciente a Kilkenny, tuve la suerte de pasar por el bar Marble City para almorzar. He visitado Kilkenny en muchas ocasiones pero nunca había comido aquí antes. Kevin, que era agradable, conversador y todo un caballero, me sirvió una comida deliciosa. Esto hizo que mi experiencia fuera muy placentera y tengo toda la intención de volver a venir aquí para comer.
04/07/2025: Tuvimos una comida fabulosa aquí hoy en el bar Marble City, llegamos sin reserva y tuvimos la suerte de que nos sentaran de inmediato, Kevin, nuestro camarero, fue muy amable, servicial y paciente con 2 comensales quisquillosos, la comida era deliciosa y una experiencia encantadora en todos los sentidos, volveremos.

31/03/2024: Even though reservation was taken via Google upon arrival it was clearly evident that the place has been permanently closed for some time.
28/02/2024: Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the manager/owner of this restaurant. We had a booking confirmation email that confirmed our reservation and were refused entry and basically told to leave because he claims they don’t do online bookings. Why on earth have a system set up where you can book online then? He was extremely rude waving his arms in the air and telling us we were wrong, even though his restaurant was empty and could have simply given us a table regardless of the mix up on his behalf.
