27/08/2024: A great pub, one of the best I’ve ever been in. Immaculately clean and attention to detail is unreal. Barman/owner was a gent. I agree with a previous reviewer….. don’t tell anyone….

14/07/2024: Extortionate prices. Ordered 2 scones and 2 diet cokes, bill came to over 17 euro. The place was empty, not surprising really given the prices. Sorry nice cafe but won't be visiting again. Rip off

05/05/2024: There was a music festival going on ( first May Weekend 2024. We had been travelling all day - came from Dublin ( originally Canada). Medieval mile busy with live bands and lots of people. We weren’t into the music scene at the time so chanced upon the Harp Bar and felt immediately right at home. Polite young man at the bar. Lovely service and chat. Was just the right place to be at that time. Patrons very friendly. Would highly recommend this pub. Had a wonderful sense of familiarity. ☘️also met a fellow Canadian who had worked at ski hill in my home town. ( Vernon BC Canada. ) small world!!

11/05/2024: Avoid at all cost. 49E for 1 starter, 1 main dish, 1 kids meal. Told it was because Bruce was playing in town. Disgraceful and appealing to rip customers off like this. Is this even legal to hike prices like this. Short sighted greedy business u have lost a whole family of regular customers. Avoid at all cost

Leonidas Belgian Chocolates Market Cross

19/07/2024: We visited on Tuesday and the loveliest most welcoming woman served us I was getting a oat cappuccino and my daughter was in her buggy and I got my husband a couple of gf chocolates, they were incredible so on way back to car we got a box of them. The lady serving is a credit to the company 10/10 in every way and when we go back to Kilkenny hopefully we will see her again and get some more

30/03/2024: This place, was undoubtably the worst place I had visited in Kilkenny, I was on a political trip to Ireland as a representative of Argentina, unlike many other places I had visited, it reminded me more of our dirty neighbours in Bolivia, I expected a lot from this place, as it was known for the renowned food and experience one could have here. Not pleased.
