Nostalgia Cafe in Kilkenny

In short, everything is a three star.

The "Garden Terrace" sounded inviting, but it was just a terrace with plastic walls and artificial plants; very noisy due to a fan. Coffee was relatively expensive. The cake was nicely presented, but unfortunately tasted like something from the supermarket. Overall, not very tasty. Service was friendly and quick. I wouldn't go again.

While on a guided tour of Kilkenny, my partner and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at Nostalgia Cafe. We were seated quickly, and the service was great. We ordered the special of a scone, cream, jam and a hot beverage (we ordered a cappuccino). There was a sprinkling of cocoa powder, mocha powder or something of the like and it was unexpected and tasty. I will be making my lattes and cappuccinos like that from now on. We also split the triple decker club sandwich and chips. Everything was fairly priced and it kept us fueled up for our tour. I'm glad we stopped by Nostalgia!

ML Dore Nostalgia Cafe is an absolutely delightful café! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the visit feel warm and personal. The pastries and sweets are simply delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and perfect for satisfying any sweet craving. The café is cozy and well-kept, and a restroom is conveniently available for customers. Everything about the experience, from the attentive service to the quality of the treats, makes it a perfect spot for a relaxing coffee or dessert break. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended! 🍰☕
