Great pint of Guinness and perfect old fashioned. Staff really attentive and friendly, and folk singers drew you in, playing some great traditional songs and even took requests.

We were lucky enough to have a live band playing during our visit. The staff was very friendly and the bar is very cozy. We'd love to come back.

This is a bar with rooms, not a hotel. Location is in the heart of the town which made meals and sightseeing convenient. The rooms are newly renovated, fresh and well decorated. The stairway to our Room #2 seemed air conditioned but the room wasn't and no fan available. That makes it rough in summer. Relatively large bathroom and living area except no table or counter big enough to open a suitcase. Bed was comfortable. Parking overnight is around the block and added 16€ to the expense. Appreciated the noon check out.

We stayed here for a night in the newly decorated building and had a really lovely experience. The staff were quite friendly, with a special shoutout to Megan and James for making us feel especially welcome. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay with modern facilities in a quiet town, I’d highly recommend it. The location is right in the heart of town, making it easy to get everywhere. Everything was spotless, and even while we were waiting to check in, the overall cleanliness and atmosphere left a strong first impression, definitely a 10/10.

20/03/2026: Went today and was waiting too long for a meal about 30 to 40 minutes we were finished ours then it came.Told the staff and the burger had to be cooked wasn't made.

31/05/2026: We order soup i didn't have the toasted sandwich with it . And we ordered a bagel turkey cheese melt something like that . So Turkey/ crispy bacon / cheese and we thought from the name of dish is would be warm but no it wasn't and cheese was hard bacon was definitely not crispy. Yeah it was not nice . My soup was barely lukewarm and had a strong taste of im guessing fennel not sure but very off putting. . And so expensive I know its dear to eat out but bagel, soup and tea for 2 just under 30 euros and didnt even heat soup or warm bagel enough to melt cheese. Didnt speak to staff to be honest they didnt look very approachable. You can see from photo how under cooked the bacon is . Over all it was okay but I wouldn't order soup or the bagel again maybe try all day breakfast we see .
21/05/2026: Very nice restaurant within the shopping centre at mcdonagh. It's usually a busy spot, it's clean, well laid out and plenty space for sitting inside and outside. Staff friendly and service is good. Food is good to, omelette is my go to and it is tasty. Will return
