Paris Texas Bar & Smokehouse in Kilkenny

Went for a bite to eat last week while I was traveling through Ireland. I got this place recommended by a Smithwick's Experience employee and he was right! The food was great. We both had the large mixed grill. I had the brisket, ribs and chicken wings. Mac and cheese and onions on the side. My dad had brisket, ribs and pulled pork, mac and cheese and mushrooms on the side. We loved everything we ordered. The meat was tender and flavourful, the mac and cheese was nice and creamy, the onions were crispy. The staff was lovely and very welcoming. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful evening. Our condolences to the staff and owner regarding recent tragedy. Our hearts go out to you.

This place is so cool and well decorated inside, food is unbelievable, 5 different meals on the table and they were unreal! I would recommend the Hake and the Fried Ice Cream!

You had just arrived in Ireland for the first time and we stumbled upon this bar by chance. Excellent service, food, and atmosphere.

We were here for lunch. The pulled pork sandwich and the lamb burger were absolutely delicious and delicious. We also enjoyed a lovely Sullivans Ale. Perfect. Thank you so much!

Food was ok our waitress was very nice and polite the food is a bit pricey but it has gone up everywhere. I don't like they add on service charge I'd prefer to leave my own tip . 20% ?

A great pint of Guinness in here and in front of a real fire, cosy atmosphere. We also had food however you can’t eat in front of the fire which is a shame we had to move to the back but we were seated in a cosy booth the food was delicious and service was good.
