Marble City Tea Rooms in Kilkenny

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was so pleasantly surprised! The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. Beautiful bar and immaculate bathrooms too!

Really lovely place right in the heart of Kilkenny, on the main street, so it’s in a great location if you’re out exploring the city. We really liked the atmosphere here. It has a nice, cosy feel and it’s a great place to stop for a drink, tea or something to eat while taking a break from walking around Kilkenny. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The location is definitely one of the biggest advantages, as you’re right in the middle of everything and can easily pop in while exploring the city. It’s also a nice place to sit down and relax for a while. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would happily come back again when we’re in Kilkenny. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a nice spot in the city centre. 😊

Minimal amount of effort went in to the food here. Not a sprig of salad or anything resembling it to garnish the plate or elevate the flavour. Typical lazy Irish hospitality, unfortunately. Prices were pumped up too.

Staff friendly, but not a great place for a night out as it closes at 10 pm

We wore here for my friends 40th birthday meal there was 9 off us the staff go above and beyond for there customers.. The food was 10.10 and the price is very resonable too. Thank you again for a warm weclome pleasent vist and great food and drinks 😊

We tried the duck and braised beef, both truly delicious! We recommend them. The dishes are generous and the value is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We arrived for dinner at 9 pm (with an online reservation). The reservation didn't go through and the kitchen was closed. Nevertheless, the waitress and the manager went out of their way to find us a table. They were very understanding and we had a very good meal. The salads were delicious. Thank you again for the warm welcome. We will cherish the memory of this place! Thank you
