Arán Artisan Bakery & Bistro in Kilkenny

Such a lovely place for lunch! 🥰 Arán has a great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service. I especially recommend the Italian toast — absolutely delicious and full of flavour! 🇮🇹🥪. I’ll definitely be back! ❤️

A must of you're visiting Kilkenny! If you're planning to eat in the bistro, we'd advise planning your time and booking ahead. On one side of the road is the bakery - so much choice and drinks too. All the pastries looked amazing! We are in the bistro - amazing chai latte and Korean Chicken Wraps...cannot recommend them highly enough - delicious!

Tables are very small, the food is good.

We went to this restaurant because the reviews were really good. We waited a bit because the place was packed, but in the end, since there are chairs at the entrance, the wait didn't seem too long. We had the Sambo Breakfast, which was very good and original. We were more ambivalent about the desserts. The Ube French toast wasn't great, the croissant was too soggy, and the Ube cream cheese had a strange taste. In the end, we weren't really sure what we were eating. However, the jam that came with it was very good. The scone was good but a little too floury for my taste, and I was disappointed to have store-bought jam and not homemade. In short, it's worth a visit, but we weren't 100% impressed, mainly because of the desserts.

Quick stop for lunch. Amazing sandwich. Local atmosphere.

My favourite treat when I'm in Kilkenny. The sandwiches and coffee in the bakery are amazing and the pastries are impossible to leave behind. If you have the time, the restaurant is fantastic too!

Delicious food with friendly, efficient service. We visited on a hot July afternoon, the food was excellent, especially the 'Italian'! One of the server's recommended the ube latte, which did not disappoint. We headed over to their bakery and deli after lunch, I got a raspberry and custard pastry which I will dream about until I have another :D Will definitely be back. Thanks!

A lovely Bistro a little bit off the main area of Kilkenny. It's popular with locals. The food was great with some unusual dishes on the menu. Good for vegetarians.

The nicest lamb skewer and BEAUTIFUL SALAD I've ever had. Definitely will be returning to try something else on the menu.
