Very well located, the staff were very attentive and efficient. The decor is unique, and they play pleasant background music without being intrusive. The food was decent, although the meat was a little overcooked for my taste. The seafood chowder was a great choice!

Olivia was an outstanding waitress for our large group—always smiling and incredibly attentive. The fish and chips were amazing, and everyone at the table ordered something different that was just as delicious. The Irish dinner music playing throughout made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Meal and service excellent. Our clonakilty chicken was outrageously good. Would strongly recommend this asuch venue if visiting Kilkenny. I would also suggest skipping dessert here as options not as amazing and go elsewhere for a sweet treat.

Amazing atmosphere! What a great find this pub/restaurant was on our road trip from Canada to Ireland. They had a traditional guitar and flute show. It was magical. Wow! I highly recommend it.

Just had a drink. The music was more noise than music. I don't know whether it was the sound system. Didn't even finish our drink which was expensive

Orchard House Bar

21/03/2026: We had a great stay here for a week because of work and visiting family. Everything was perfect, from the very comfortable, quiet rooms to the great breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s the perfect setting with a restaurant and bar as part of it, so it was a very enjoyable week and made even better with just a very friendly welcome every morning as if we were family. We’d definitely recommend and we’ll be back here to stay next time in Kilkenny.
23/01/2026: Room is nice, very Comfortable bed. Food was extremely good plus staff servicing the food were excellent and so friendly. Recommend the Orchard House.
