Orchard House Bar in Kilkenny

We had a great stay here for a week because of work and visiting family. Everything was perfect, from the very comfortable, quiet rooms to the great breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s the perfect setting with a restaurant and bar as part of it, so it was a very enjoyable week and made even better with just a very friendly welcome every morning as if we were family. We’d definitely recommend and we’ll be back here to stay next time in Kilkenny.

Room is nice, very Comfortable bed. Food was extremely good plus staff servicing the food were excellent and so friendly. Recommend the Orchard House.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay here. My room was absolutely spotless clean and overall lovely. It is a great location, 20 minute walk from the city, and close to everything else. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again :)

Fantastic food . 5 mins drive from kilkenny city centre ( well worth the drive ). Great service 👏. Could I just recommend ( to the chef ) adding a roast potato to the roast dishes? Please don't change the stir-fry, it's 💯 % amazing. At least 3 separate dining/drinking areas +outside personal boots. I'll be leaving my hotel again next time to eat here . Also background music was fab 👌 .

Stopped here for dinner with my wife both of us enjoyed a lovely meal. Would recommend to anyone.

Recently visited The Orchard for birthday lunch for my elderly dad, party of 6. The owner John and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Food was delicious and plentiful. Lovely experience.

We have been going to the Orchard for the past number of years and love it!! The service is usually very good and food is fantastic especially the fajitas and roasts. They seem to have changed the menu in the past few weeks and the chicken wrap is no longer on it... it was lovely, slightly disappointed with that. I would recommend them bringing it back as it was delicious.
