Orchard House Bar in Kilkenny

Easy to get to, friendly staff. I was slightly disappointed as my food came out with the top few bits only warm not hot. I was part of a large table so maybe they had to wait for other dishes to be ready. Good quality dishes though and nice flavours. I would try here again.

I didn't stay at the b&b but ate there delicious dinner but there was no apple trees why is it called the orchard then😂

Had my grandsons christening here Saturday..lovely room and food might just have to revisit at a later date

There is plenty of free parking available. We had to search a bit to find the check-in area. This could perhaps be made clearer. It was at the bar. The room was modern and spacious. We didn't want to open the windows because the kitchen was directly below the room and the exhaust air came right out. However, there was a proper air conditioner, which was sufficient. The room was quiet. A note about privacy: the bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn't lock. It only provides some visual screening; noise simply passes through it. We drove into Kilkenny city center; it was too far for us to walk.

Excellent room, clean and comfortable. Coffee maker and teas included. Extremely friendly from the moment we arrived. We had dinner upon arrival, breakfast the next day, and everything was wonderful.

Just had food there today. Service from Faye was excellent

Very good place to stay on the outskirts of kilkenny ... very convenient ... with bar and restaurant on site

We have had food at The Orchard on a number of occasions. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Food has consistently been of a high standard. The premises are well presented. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

Nice and friendly, clean rooms and the food is great, not too far out of kilkenny, I can recommend 👌

Great food, big portions, excellent service in a relaxed edge-of-town location. Excellent value for money for tourists who have had enough of town centre eateries.
