13/08/2026: The food was delicious and the service was fantastic, my son who is autistic was able to enjoy a calm table and enjoy his meal. Definitely family friendly

30/07/2026: Hmmm. Upfront: absolutely no complaints about the food. Cons: Crowded, hardly we've been walked to our table. People being on the balcony are either forgotten or intentionally not served on time. I saw the other table's guests leaving without being served, so yes, this is an area to improve

24/10/2025: I was only in the restaurant for a coffee. The atmosphere is very pleasant, beautifully decorated, and cozy. Good service.

07/10/2025: A lovely cafe on the banks of the Barrow. We sat out and had coffee and scones, watching the world go by on the river. Nicest scones we’ve had for a long time. Friendly staff too.

I’m honestly still shocked at how delicious this was! 😭😍 We actually came across this place completely by chance in Killarney. We had simply stopped because we needed a quick bathroom break 😂, but when we saw the shop, we were immediately attracted to it and thought, “Why not get a little cupcake?” In the end, we asked the lovely waitress for her recommendations, and she was incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. She recommended their most popular desserts: the lemon cake and the strawberry cheesecake. I was actually a little hesitant about the cheesecake because, in France, I often find that cheesecakes have a very strong cream-cheese taste. The only one I usually enjoy is Oreo cheesecake. But THIS cheesecake… WOW! 🤯❤️ Now I finally understand what a REAL cheesecake is! It was so soft, creamy and smooth, with a delicious biscuit base, a lovely cream topping, fresh fruit that was full of flavor, and the most delicious coulis on top. And here’s another great surprise: the cream, fresh fruit and coulis are automatically included with the cheesecake! 😍 Honestly, this spontaneous little stop turned into a real taste adventure, and I absolutely do not regret it! A special mention also goes to the whole staff, who were all so polite, warm and welcoming. And even if you’re French and your English is terrible 😂, don’t worry! Even speaking in “Franglais”, you can still communicate perfectly fine! I did have some reservations about the cheesecake, though, because in France I often find the cream cheese flavor a bit too strong. It was incredibly soft, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth, with a delicious biscuit base, a light and flavorful cream, an absolutely delicious red berry coulis, and fresh, flavorful fruit. And a nice little surprise: the cream, fruit, and coulis are automatically included with the cheesecake! 😍 In short, this impromptu break turned into a true explosion of flavors, and I absolutely don't regret giving in to temptation. Special mention also goes to the whole team, who were very polite, warm, and welcoming. And even if you're French with terrible English 😂, don't panic: even speaking in "Franglais," we managed to understand each other perfectly! A wonderful discovery during our visit to Killarney.
