17/09/2024: Typical Irish restaurant inside a hotel, but with a separate entrance. The food is more varied than the rest and a delicious duck with apricot and vegetables should be highlighted.
Dave, the waiter who served us, was very kind and made sure everything was right, wonderful!
Highly recommended if you are visiting Kilkenny!

The Lime Tree cafe & restaurant
17/09/2024: Lovely spot, nice staff, great food. Full of locals, which is always a good sign. Shrimp tacos with mango salsa, yummy.
But....the toilets. They are seriously in need of a deep clean. Not just the loo, but the walls, doors, everything.
Spoilt the experience, for me anyway.

We visited while on a day out at the Discovery Park.
Had to write this review to commend the excellent food and fantastic service. Good value and very family friendly with an interesting menu a cut above the standard small town cafe fare. I would return to Castlecomer Discovery Park as an excuse to drop in again.
Highly recommend the Korean Chicken Wrap special!

The food was so fresh, service was a delight. With a very friendly atmosphere

14/05/2024: This is the coolest place around... đ lovely cafe with a view! Because it's 2 floors up and overlooking one of the main streets in Kilkenny...and even has a good view of the castle... food is lovely too....ye have to see this place if you're in Kilkenny

18/08/2024: Nous avons fait une halte dans ce lieu pour y déjeuner. Les gùteaux et plats salés étaient delicieux et généreux, nous avons simplement trouvé le prix des boissons trop onéreux compte tenu du prix des plats. L'accueil est souriant et agréable.

18/10/2024: So i have been here on a few different occasions.
There spice box is consistant and its ok not amazing but it does the job.
There fried rice very bland pure white not a bit of brown tint to be seen.
Fried noddles do be burnt.
Curry,Oyster and black bean sauces all flavourless no seasoning its like the chef has no pride in there cooking what so ever,so sad to see.

03/06/2024: Ein wirklich sehr schöner und gepflegter Platz! Sehr nettes Personal, schöner Proshop. Clubhaus mit Blick auf Driving Range. Alles in allem war es das GreenFee wert.
22/04/2024: Myself and three friends booked into mt Juliet for two night and booked golf for one round. Our T time was 12.20 and we got back to the clubhouse at 6pmđthey put two ball out between 4 ball and we waited on every hole. We were eating in the hound restaurant that evening so we went in to have drinks after a very very long round . I sat down at a vacant table and when server came he asked if I had a booking and I said no we just wanted to have drinks and I was told that the tables were booked !! As it happened some other friends were playing behind us who didnât have a booking but as they were eating they were allowed in. When we said this at reception we were told club house gave preference to members and their guests.
It is a beautiful golf course which we have played may times but to be honest the personal touch has gone which is such a shame

19/06/2024: I honestly canât understand the high rating this place has achieved.We were on a hen do and booked the 2:30 Bottomless Brunch slot on Saturday.It was an absolute madhouse with the music sky high. Terrible food ,nasty fizz and watery cocktails.The dining room is a long dark narrow room with no coverings on the tables and shabby chairs.
We left after an hour.If you are considering booking this you absolutely must get one of your party to go along first to check it out.
