best pub i’ve been to in Ireland so far. Bartender was great, the regulars were so kind, and a great pint of guinness. nothing beats sitting next to the fire and watching hurling. highly recommend

13/05/2026: We had a lovely evening listening to a talented man playing irish tunes on a Monday night. The bar man was very friendly, there was a great selection of drinks and the atmosphere was fantastic with everyone joining in singing and all so friendly. If you are looking for an evening with a bit of Irish charm then I highly recommend taking a look.
30/04/2026: Popped in on Tuesday night one man band playing he got the small crowd going singing and dancing. The bartender was friendly as we're the locals lovely spot and will definitely call in again next time we are in Kilkenny.

05/05/2026: They went out of their way to accommodate us and our toddler. The food was delicious, and the service and atmosphere were great.
08/04/2026: Good central pub. Nice selection of drinks. Friendly and helpful staff.
