29/08/2023: One of my favourite spots, and a lovely place to have lunch - feels like a hidden gem. The food is beautiful and menu very innovative, they always have amazing specials and great options for vegetarians/vegans. The staff are so pleasant and attentive. Deserves all the praise it gets! P.s please bring back the chickpea, hummus and halloumi dish :D

Great decor in bar/restaurant and rooms are gorgeous.
Great food and drink. Gluten and Dairy free options available.
Lovely, clean bathrooms.
Expect some noise as on main street, but this wasn't overly disruptive and more noticeable as we kept windows open due to heat.
No air conditioning (common in Ireland) so was a nice touch that the hotels provided a fan.
would defo stay again.
20/08/2023: Great pub, great food and great craic. Stayed a few nights. Loved the rooms. Not the usual generic hotel bedrooms. Quirky, quality and cosy. Loved this place...

20/09/2023: Went here on Saturday after being left standing like in the pub next door for 10 minutes trying to get a drink. As soon as we went in the manager asked us if we wanted food or drinks so we said drinks so sat at the bar had a nice few pints with my friend and ended up ordering food which was very good the staff are very good and attentive when my glass was nearly gone i was asked if i wanted another which is proper service overall very good night nice staff and food at a good price will be back

18/09/2023: Our stay on Silken Thomas was awesome! The room was cozy and clean! The bed and pillow were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided a fan for the room because it was really hot that day and it made a huge difference.
We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious!
I would definitely recommend this place for staying and/or having a meal.
17/09/2023: The food is nice cant say its not but one point less because its expensive for the amount they serve and qnother point less because the dishes were dirty
