Cunninghams Bar Kildare in Maynooth

Dropped in here for something to eat and every aspect of it was fantastic 👍🏻

Lovely pub just a pity they don't do a better option of non alcoholic drinks. Would be nice to be able to have non alcoholic wine especially with a meal. Not everyone drinks and some people are also designated drivers. We don't always want soft drinks or non alcoholic beer. Hartes does a great non alcoholic selection. These should follow suit.

Cunningham's is right across the street from where we stayed at the Silken Thomas. Our large family was in town for a wedding and they did a beautiful job of accommodating a large group of us. We ate there twice. They have two different rooms with two completely different atmospheres. The first place that we ate was white tablecloth with wine glasses and candles. Very romantic and elevated. The second space they have is a pub atmosphere. Very comfortable and nice. It's the same menu for both places They were awesome.

The food is really good. Not very cheap, around €24 for a main. There's lot of variety and the menu has lots of Thai food. One side is more of a pub and the other a fancy restaurant, but the same menu. I ordered the Fish & Chips, which was delicious, but the Cod & Ginger was only €1 more and it came with the same amount of deep fried fish, a side which can be chips, but the fish was served on a thai ginger curry. So you might as well order the Cod & Ginger and ask for tartare on the side instead of getting the Fish & Chips. Excellent service and atmosphere though, it's a very nice restaurant.

Perfect place for a weekend or short break with everything you could need. Room was fantastic large and well decorated. Bar and restaurant first class. A great venue in a lovely town.

I unfortunately had to cancel out room for this weekend as I didn't realise it was adults only. I delt with the most kindest, polite and knowledgeable lady on the phone. She was so helpful she even found our family a new place stay for the weekend. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, but you're a asset to Cunninghams, they're lucky to have you. Thank you for all your help today.

Great food and great service! Very friendly staff. The duck is exceptional.

Great pub in Kildare town. Called in for some food and it was very good. The staff were very attentive and friendly, they chatted to all the customers making them feel right at home. There is plenty of space in the pub and it had a great atmosphere.

Had a fabulous meal and experience in The Dining Room. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent t.
