Food was fantastic a lovely room and most importantly the staff were lovely very pleased

Just arrived dinner was amazing staff Couldn't do enough for us and the room is top notch with its own front door like a country cottage

Absolutely fabulous place for food and great atmosphere unfortunately I can't rate the rooms because I haven't stayed here yet but I was here five years ago and I loved the food and its great the way you have options of where to sit either in the main bar restaurant area or the squire's room at the back beside smoking and cellar area I loved the squire's gannon bar at the back beside the cellar storage area of the building I would like to mention that silken thomas is very similar to jack tavern in camolin co wexford it has a strong resemblance to jacks tavern camolin.

Usual B&B in old style building. Not too expensive.

To be honest I was a little concerned booking a room in a pub before St Patrick's Day over the weekend....Don't panic the rooms are in a building in the car park at the back so no issues with pub noise. However it is an old building so there are some creaks and door bangs from fellow guests coming and going and sadly wifi was non existent in my room. Didn't eat in the restaurant but looked good. Had a beer in the truly authentic bar area which had some good live music. Great location for my trip being under an hour to Dublin or 1 & half to the south coast. Handy lidl down the road. Car park gets very busy early evening. Over all good value, good location too 👌

A group of us visited Silken Thomas everything about our trip was excellent..food ,staff, hitel and location..aa excellent.I would highly recommend this hotel.
