Dew Drop Gastropub in Kill

I went here on Sunday with my family for the first time and I'm already planning my next visit. Staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was fab. I had the Sunday roast and my partner had the seabass special. Both amazing. It was extremely busy there when we went but it looked like the staff were well used to it. If I could give more stars I would.

Had my partners Mark 60th birthday party in the Green Room. The food platters were incredible and the young male server looking after us was so nice cheerful and friendly, wish i got his name. Sarah , the manager was so helpful when it came to organising this event. Everyone who attend had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend Dew Drop Inn . Thanks to all the Staff for making this a truly wonderful evening. Catherine.

Nice food- simply delicious. Generous portions with a touch of extravagance.

Food today was fab and the lady that served us was really nice. Definitely be back.

Stopped here by chance after our flight to Dublin. Very friendly service, cozy pub and amazing (!!!) food. If we ever cross the area again, we will definatly return!

We went for dinner last night. (Saturday 25th July). 4 of us. We were sat in an Alcove area beside a glass panel and a round table. Food and drink order done. Food came out. All very nice. Meal was finished. Table beside us came in after us, finished their meal after us, table cleared and dessert served. We were waiting for 30 or so minutes to be served. Got dessert menu and ordered. Dessert was really good too. Then we were waiting again to get the bill and then waiting again to pay. Eventually I got up to pay the bill at the bsr and I was asked if everything was ok, and I said yes. I should have said that the food was good but the service was not good. The staff were very friendly and nice, just sadly that we were forgotten about. That was our experience. I think the glass partition should be taken down.

What a lovely place. Visiting the area staying in Naas. Took the 126 bus that stops in multiple stops as it makes its way toward Dublin Connolly. The pub opened at 12 noon but greeted an 5 til the top of the hour when zipped my head in for a look. Reading reviews prior to my visit, all 5 stars given are on point. This is a destination worth visiting for great food and in house brewed beer. Not much else around that I can see in Kill but nonetheless, this is worth the ride as the bus drops you less than a half block away. There are no seats at the bar. Was hoping for that as I love chatting up the bartender to gain insight into the area and how the gastropub and brewery came about. Lots of seating and found a cozy spot to the side of the bar to set up my laptop and plan to do a little bit of work. They have a guest WiFi network if needed. I had room for just one beer and selected the award winning Helles. On a 28 C day it hit the spot. There are a couple of seasonal beers on and as well as the standard formats. The brewery caught my attention after having a their juicy pale ale Elipssis at a pub in Naas. There is a beautiful patio to sit outside and it’s covered but bright an airy. Problem is smokers inside like to step outside the door to have a smoke. I wish there would be a standard that smokers have to step away 10 meters from anywhere food is served. Allow the breeze to diffuse the second hand smoke. Enjoy your visit to this gem in Kill, County Kildare Ireland.

First time here. And will 100% be back for more. Excellent service and beautiful food. I highly recommend the potato skin starter to share as a couple. Fantastic. Good sized carpark in the rear. Wpuld have preferred option of large bottle of sparkling water or from the splash instead of small bottles . But that just 1 small gripe

We stopped here for lunch in May 2026. And it was delightful. The interior was retro, elegant and relaxed. The portion was huge. I loved the goat cheese tart!

Amazing atmosphere, we seat outside on a Sunday afternoon (June). The staff was very attentive and courteous. Lovely food. Have to mention that we are not “beer people” but wanted to try their… Couldn’t recommend more.
