We turned up at the Dew Drop Inn with our three dogs and every one of the serving staff came out to say hello to them, which tells you most of what you need to know about the place. We sat outside and they put the heaters on for us without being asked. The food was grand. The potato and cheddar soup was fabulous, and the steak and mushroom pie was phenomenal. Richard said the soup sounded lovely, and the waitress brought him over a free taster of it, which is the sort of thing that sticks with you long after the meal. Properly dog friendly, warm outdoor seating, genuinely friendly service and cooking worth the trip. We'll be going back.

I went here on Sunday with my family for the first time and I'm already planning my next visit. Staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was fab. I had the Sunday roast and my partner had the seabass special. Both amazing. It was extremely busy there when we went but it looked like the staff were well used to it. If I could give more stars I would.

Had my partners Mark 60th birthday party in the Green Room. The food platters were incredible and the young male server looking after us was so nice cheerful and friendly, wish i got his name. Sarah , the manager was so helpful when it came to organising this event. Everyone who attend had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend Dew Drop Inn . Thanks to all the Staff for making this a truly wonderful evening. Catherine.

17/08/2026: My husband and son stop here often when they are visiting grandad. I came with them this time and everyone was super excited, because 'You really need to eat something here, it's delicious!'. They were not wrong. The food is fantastic and the place itself small, but wonderful. When we were on our way home my husband mentioned 'This is my favorite spot to take my dad for lunch or dinner' and I can see why. Funny thing, my Father in law said the same before we left, 'My favorite little fancy restaurant in the area, I love going here'. They sell local artists paintings and the food is presented beautifully. It's kind of like they are creating memories for people and they do it well ♥ I ordered the superfoods pizza with goats cheese, shaved roasted sweet potatoes, walnuts and a side order of sweet potato chips. It was very tasty, so I forgot to take photos of the inside of the place! Can't wait to go back! Would 10/10 recommend.
