03/11/2024: We had absolutely delicious, fresh seafood here. Highly recommend the chowder and fish and chips. It’s a lovely warm and cozy place to relax in with a good atmosphere and friendly staff.

28/09/2024: We were very lucky to be able to eat at this restaurant! Simply a dream. From the perfectly fried hake in butter to the tasty vegetables and the fantastic mashed potatoes to the cleverly seasoned calamari, it's an excellent meal. In addition, the owner and the rest of the staff are so genuinely courteous that you really feel welcome. Please don't change anything and keep it up. For that reason alone, Ireland is worth a trip!

27/10/2024: Beautiful food, expertly prepared, hospitable service, and a beautiful room. If it wouldn’t require a transatlantic flight I would gladly dine here weekly. We came with a group of 8 rather last minute and they took excellent care of us. We’re already preparing for our next meal in a few months.

24/10/2024: My wife Vivien and I, nephew Shane and his wife, Mairead recently had the pleasure of dining at The Dining Room, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The Stirzarker family and their staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, creating an atmosphere that’s as friendly as it is comfortable. It’s clear that the team at the Dining Room truly cares about their guests, while the food itself is simply outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chef here is passionate about his craft, as the food felt creative and thoughtfully prepared. The combination of excellent food, fine wine and such friendly service makes dining at the Dining Room a truly special experience. If you’re looking for a place where you can not only enjoy an incredible meal but also feel truly cared for by a welcoming team, this is the restaurant for you. 29/10/2024: My husband had been craving a seafood chowder and I read great reviews about this pub and it did not disappoint. We had the chowder and garlic mushrooms to start and they were both delicious, they were kind enough to share a main course of cottage pie between my kids and they ate every bite it was so tasty. I had the vol au vents and my husband had the curry. We couldn't fault any of it, it was so good and everyone around us was so friendly.

17/11/2024: Fairytale venue for my cousin's wedding. Charming, high end hotel with impeccable service, exceptional food and real character. The rooms and common areas are refined and elegant without being stuffy or uncomfortable. Staff was absolutely lovely and made the experience one we won't soon forget. Location is wonderful ...you are kind of secluded, but in a few minutes walk you are in Clifden for shops, pubs, etc. Hope to be back soon!

16/11/2024: What a wonderful jewel in the crown. The staff are so professional, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious, with ample servings (and more should you want some). A family run business (hotel) that's now in its second generation and the family work hard at making sure ALL guests are comfortable and looked after no matter the time of day.

13/11/2024: Lovely example of a gastro pub. Warm atmosphere with excellent service and the food was great value for money. Highly Recomend the Whit Horse for food and a couple of quiet pints.

02/11/2024: We went to see white horse guitar club perform, they were absolutely brilliant. Before the concert we had a meal in the restaurant. The food was 1st class, the staff were so pleasant, a happy bunch of people, it was packed to capacity and despite that the service great
