20/02/2026: Nice bar with friendly and hard working staff. The food wasn't the best. I had chicken wings, which tasted nice but some of the wings seemed to be refried. There was nothing exciting about the smashed cheese burger, which came with a small portion of chips and some wet salad leaves. The brownie was delicious.

15/02/2026: The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We had the typical dish, fish with potatoes, and beef with Guinness sauce. They had gluten-free options.

01/01/2026: The food, mood, service, and everything else you'd expect for a fine dining establishment was there. But nothing blew my socks off and it was a bit on the pricey side. The most noticeable thing for me was the service because everyone was so friendly and accommodating for me as I brought my 6 and 8 year kids to dinner. The chef spent a few minutes at each able to chat with the guests too. This is a great thing but also maybe not so great if it is more memorable than the food.

01/02/2026: There are so many lovely and amazing bars here in Sligo. Swagman is my favorite. After a near decade of drinking here I'm proud to call it my local. If you want to experience a true "Irish pub" come to the Swag, great staff, great food and lots of local craft beer to choose from :) LGBTQ ally x

12/02/2026: I had a wonderful one-night stay at the Absolute Hotel in Limerick and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and efficient, making check-in smooth and genuinely pleasant. The room itself was spotless and beautifully presented – everything felt fresh, modern, and extremely well cared for. The attention to cleanliness was outstanding, and it made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. To top it all off, the full Irish breakfast the next morning was excellent. There was a great selection, everything was perfectly cooked, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend the Absolute Hotel to anyone visiting Limerick and would happily stay again.

04/03/2026: Spent an overnight stop in campervan on a hardsdand with water and electricity.... had evening meal from an extensive menu... Great food and drinks from a friendly staff .... proprietor on hand meeting and greeting...lovely touch... not many place provide same anymore ... would definitely recommend !

29/12/2025: Loved my vegan breakfast here! Generous portion (a massive plate of seasoned potato cubes!) w/ complimentary coffee, and they stock oat milk! Friendly service and a very warm welcome as you enter! Note: it is cash only, so keep this in mind if you plan a visit!

15/02/2026: Definitely the best fish/seafood I ate in Ireland ! I had the fish and chips for my meal and the fish was ginormous and fried to perfection. The chips were good as well. I also had the salmon gravlax as a starter and it was AMAZING ! It melted in my mouth and the flavour was unmatched. The views are great and the service is excellent.

28/02/2026: Ate at Church restaurant this evening and what a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Beautiful meal in truly magical setting, superbly attentive and friendly staff. My new number one destination while visiting west Cork.

26/12/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Our waitress Olga was absolutely fantastic—so positive, friendly, and professional. Her lovely personality really stood out and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The service was brilliant and truly enhanced the whole visit. The food was also very nice. We’ll definitely be back.

05/03/2026: Had a lovely visit to Jemi Lighthouse Cafe, a fully vegan café located close to AIB. It’s a cute and an Instagram-friendly spot with a cozy vibe. I tried the Terryland Reuben sandwich and the Salthill Squash Salad, and both were tasty. The only downside was that the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. The place was quite busy over the weekend, but we managed to get seats on the high chairs along the window aisle. Overall, it’s a good little spot for a quick vegan snack, and I would recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
