07/08/2026: Great food and wonderful hospitality at Flesk Bar & Restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Flesk Bar & Restaurant. A truly perfect evening in the heart of Killarney: Delicious fish dishes & fresh salads: The quality of the food absolutely impressed us. The fish dishes were cooked to perfection and had a wonderfully delicate flavor. The salads were also crisp and very fresh. Great selection for children: The children's menu is truly excellent – ​​not just bland and boring, but perfectly tailored to little ones and deliciously prepared. The whole family was completely satisfied. Attentive service & cozy atmosphere: The service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and prompt. Add to that a really lovely, cozy ambiance where you immediately feel welcome. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. We will definitely be back next time we are in Killarney!

01/08/2026: I had dinner here with some friends and clearly told the staff that I’m allergic to onions. When my steak (€34) arrived, it was covered with onions. I pointed out the mistake, and the plate was taken back to the kitchen. It came back almost immediately, but it was obvious they had only removed most of the onions, as there were still pieces left on the meat. I explained the issue again. This time I started a timer, and the steak came back in just two minutes. It was hot on the outside but cold in the middle, and the plate itself was cold. It was pretty clear that the steak had simply been rinsed, quickly reheated, and served again instead of being cooked fresh. This is completely unacceptable, especially when a food allergy is involved. If the kitchen makes a mistake like this, the dish should be prepared from scratch, not cleaned off and served again. I’ve attached a photo of the steak as I left it. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I can’t recommend this place.

02/09/2026: There is plenty of free parking available. We had to search a bit to find the check-in area. This could perhaps be made clearer. It was at the bar. The room was modern and spacious. We didn't want to open the windows because the kitchen was directly below the room and the exhaust air came right out. However, there was a proper air conditioner, which was sufficient. The room was quiet. A note about privacy: the bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn't lock. It only provides some visual screening; noise simply passes through it. We drove into Kilkenny city center; it was too far for us to walk.

23/08/2026: Excellent room, clean and comfortable. Coffee maker and teas included. Extremely friendly from the moment we arrived. We had dinner upon arrival, breakfast the next day, and everything was wonderful.

02/09/2026: The food and complimentary beverages were wonderful. We really enjoyed the world class performances and the staff were all exceptionally professional, efficient and friendly. They made sure we were safely transported back and forth to our hotel. We happily recommend this experience and will revisit at our earliest opportunity.

21/07/2026: We stopped here at the weekend on our way home. Plenty of parking at the back. We hadn't reserved a table but the staff found us a table for 6 of us. Very much appreciated as we were all hungry. Ordered steak Sambos and kids got gougons & chips. Everything was delicious, must say was the best Steak Sambos we had in a very long time. Everything cooked perfect. When came to desert unfortunately wasn't what was advertised. The kids preferred the waffles and Nutella but when came it wasn't Nutella but rather some chocolate sauce out of a bottle seems like, but on the menu it said Nutella & waffles. For the adults the deserts are overpriced to be honest @ €8.50.

17/08/2026: Very dirty, sticky tables, unfriendly service. We were given a timeframe for when the table should be free again, as we hadn't made a reservation. When we then went to order, no server appeared. We left the restaurant.

26/08/2026: Incredible food, the bacon and cabbage was legendary, I will be dreaming about that meal for a long time. Additionally the Guinness was on point as all Guinness in Ireland is, this is a great spot to stop in for a bite and a pint when in Adare, 5 stars at least!
