03/01/2026: This restaurant is superb. We've visited many times and the food is consistently outstanding, matched only by the wonderfully warm, welcoming, and friendly staff. Each course is served promptly and piping hot. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Thanks to everyone involved both front of house and behind the scenes. Slane and its surrounding areas are lucky to have such a little gem on their doorstep.

11/01/2026: Very good food, with a very short wait and plenty of it. Fresh fish and fresh fries. Service was prompt. Very nice atmosphere. It's clean. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

06/01/2026: My son has a serious allergy and I am nervous trying new restaurants but Stephen, who looked after us in Mary Barry's was incredible. Listened and reassured me that his order was suitable. I immediately relaxed and was able to enjoy the evening with family and friends, the food and atmosphere was great but I could only truly enjoy it because Stephen was so attentive. Would highly recommend Mary Barry's. Great team run by Gordon. Thank you so much ☺️

31/12/2025: Very impressed. I was out for a drive in howth with my youngest and I started feeling peckish, I decided to give house a try. I got the full Irish breakfast, no egg (I hate eggs) extra sausage and it was unreal. The sausage, bacon and black pudding ŵere amazing and at 12.50 great value. My daughter wasnt hungry but decided after my food had come, she wanted to try the sausage, we ended up placing an order for her. The breakfast was so good I returned two days later and plan to pop back over this weekend.

27/12/2025: After a cliff walk, we arrived at The House without reservations. We were seated and served really quickly. Brunch was great. Eggs Benedict, sweet potato fries, green salad. They were able to carry to my food allergies. Highly recommended.

15/01/2026: Cosy restaurant good food. Variety of meals to suit everyone. The desserts was just perfect and elegantly presented. The menu has a variety of Starters and mains. Interesting indoor decor and very attentive staff. Family friendly

09/09/2025: The Skeff is part of the The Skeffington Arms Hotel. Food was very good. The Seafood Chowder and a couple of (non!) Stout beers from other parts of Ireland were a welcomed change of pace. IPA's, actually. One from Letterkenny, and the other from Kill, County Kildare. Other than the service being just a tad slow, it was (overall) very good. And the live music was magical this night. Okay...Not exactly magical, but covers from bands/artists that everyone knows, sung by a group of a youngish band of 3 called The Groev. They did a great job, actually.

13/12/2025: I am sorry to say that my friend and I were very disappointed with Solas as we had heard great things about it. We ordered about 7 dishes, 2 spuds and the sourdough (which was supermarket quality bread) and a bottle of wine, which was delicious to be fair. The croquettes were rock hard and when I finally managed to cut one open the filling was too runny. The oysters had too much roe on them, which was unnecessary and took away from the flavour of them. The scallop ceviche portion was tiny and worked out €9 a portion. They were very flavourless. The cured sardine was inedible so we left that one behind. The bill came to a whopping €258. Perhaps the prices were increased for Other Voices and perhaps we arrived at a bad time because it was very busy. We were reminded by the waitress on multiple occasions that we needed to leave by a certain time and that made us feel unwelcome and rushed. She seemed to be stressed. All over it was all style and no substance and I am happy to pay that amount of money when the food is excellent and this was not the case.

03/12/2025: Super experience in Solas over the weekend, having wanted to try for so long. Had a mix of small and medium plates with the standouts being the wagyu beef taco, crab tartlets and the oysters although all dishes were exceptional. Service was excellent and right on the mark in terms of pace, friendliness and helpfulness. A well oiled machine in the heart of Dingle.

29/12/2025: Very good place, great selection of drinks - tasty non alcoholic cocktails 🍸 Food was delicious: we tried scallops, they were absolutely delicious, 🤤 Followed by chicken and hamburger. The service is AMAZING! 5 🌟 We had to wait to our mains for around 1.5 h, which is quite intense. Nevertheless we were enjoying our lunch and would come again!

08/01/2026: Beautiful 5 star hotel outside of Cork City. 10 minutes drive to Cobh . We went here for a birthday celebration and it was fabulous and very relaxing. Definitely worth a visit. Also the spa was incredible

07/01/2026: After a busing Christmas we stayed in fota for 2 nights. The resort is in a great location, service was top class and the food could not be faulted. From the moment we stepped in we were made feel welcome. The door man Michael I think it was really made our trip. So welcoming every time and very helpful and informative. We stayed in a double room. Very spacious. The bathroom is spotless and the cleaners did a stellar job. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for a day. The price quoted at reception was quite a bit more expensive than booking on hotels.com or bookings.com. We said this to them and they matched the price instantly. Very happy with all interactions.

17/11/2025: €40 per person is a good price for the 3 courses and tea or coffee. Amazing choice of starters I had the goatsbridge smoked trout . The sirloin of beef 🥩 was the best I have ever tasted. The dessert trolley is amazing. Service is exceptional food is amazing 🤩 parking is free .
