The Old Ship in Arklow

Nicest staff, great pint (served in proper Old style Guinness glasses) great pub food - the Sunday roast beef is another level. Advising booking on weekends but we’ve always been accommodated regardless! Kid friendly too.

On our travels and took a punt to stop and have Sunday lunch at this place. So glad we did. Food, atmosphere and especially the staff were all amazing. So friendly and welcoming. Anyone visiting Arklow must stop in at The Old Ship Inn. What a gem of a place.

Nice pub with good food and fair prices

Passing through for three days, some locals recommended this pub for dinner. After being turned away the first night (the kitchen closes between 7:30 and 8:00 pm), we went back the second night and were so glad we did. The generous portions were delicious, the servers were fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.

We had a wonderful lunch here yesterday! Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Special thanks to the staff – they were incredibly polite and made us feel truly special. Definitely recommended!
