Scannells
Clonakilty
30/09/2026: Greetings from Galicia, Spain! Everything was great! 🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉
11/09/2026: The seafood chowder was good, very generous with the prawns and mussels. But not quite as good as some of the more “fish” heavy chowders we’ve tried elsewhere. The wild mushroom rigatoni and chicken were quite tasty. The scampi was good. The portions in all instances were very generous.
Overall a nice experience.
The fly that kept landing on the table was kind of friendly. There are a lot of flies around these days.
Food only served 12-4pm. No dinner.

Mister S
Dublin
09/10/2026: We had a very attentive waiter and the food was delicious. We had the beef tartare, beetroot dip, spring rolls which we shared between 4 of us for entree. Followed by fish, ribs, chicken and pork chop and a portion of all the side dishes. Loved the cabbage as not something I would normally have and the potatoes were cooked to perfection.
We were visiting from Australia and our friends from Barcelona. Overall a lovely vibe and good value for delicious food.
08/10/2026: Have never had a bad experience here. The day the burnt end rendang spring rolls come off the menu is the day I stop coming. They’re exceptionally delicious. As is everything else, though we always stick to the pork chop & piri chicken as mains! No point going unless the potatoes are one of your sides. Once you know your date book ahead to avoid disappointment. Great value, great food, great service.

Lord Baker's
An daingean
13/09/2026: Music and beer, great atmosphere, the place was packed, people of all ages. I loved it.
18/08/2026: The service and food were memorable. The venue is cozy and romantic. We only wished we had saved room for dessert because a neighboring table ordered cheesecake and chocolate cake that looked fantastic. The staff makes your dining experience feel relaxed and elevated. I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation if able as they stay busy.

Cavistons
Dublin
24/10/2026: Excellent food and setting. Staff were friendly and professional. A quality restaurant
11/10/2026: Very tasty food, good cocktailsz and excellent wine options. Gluten free easily catered for with no issue.
The interior is so lovely, and the staff are so warm and friendly.
It's tiny bits of polish that would just elevate it even more: check a glass for a lipstick stain, for example.
Totally nitpicking, but the music playing didn't match the vibe of the room, and I wish the lighting was less bright.

Muskerry Arms

20/07/2026: We loved this pub. Locals hanging out, messing with each other and the bar team was great. Got to have beers that are not available where we live. Thanks to the employees that were working this night. You made our day.
03/07/2026: Just finished our stay here; great place! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, food is great, and, most importantly, amazing water pressure in the shower!
It was lovely staying on the green in Blarney and it all had a friendly small village vibe. I look forward to staying here again, thanks all!
