01/10/2025: Such a great experience last night. I brought my fiancé here for her birthday. Honestly, the nicest food I’ve had all year. Both dinners and desserts were an experience. Not only that but the staff were incredibly friendly and a really relaxed atmosphere, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the surroundings. 10/10, I can’t wait to come back for my birthday.

05/09/2025: This is the best breakfast experience in Galway!!!!! The French toast dishes are unbelievable and rival that of any American establishment!!!! Eggs and sausage to compliment create a spectacular flurry of flavors and textures!!! The service is exceptional and very fast!!!! Truly an amazing breakfast experience and the only way to start your day!!!!!

30/08/2025: Incredible meal from start to finish. Our waiter Seamus was a remarkable host and did not disappoint with his recommendations. The duck liver parfait was decadent and the fish rillette was refreshing. The pigeon breast was tender and the beef cheek was so rich in flavour. When it came to dessert, we had trouble choosing what to try but through Seamus’s recommendation, we had gone with the vanilla ice cream with brownie chunks and salted caramel along with the burnt basque cheesecake and were delighted by both.

20/10/2025: Myself & 2 friends spent 3 nights in the Abbeyglen recently & had a most enjoyable experience. From minute we landed everything was perfect, from breakfast to history of house to a fabulous dinner. We got brilliant value for what we paid for our stay. Staff were very helpful staff at reception. restaurant & bar staff & cleaners. We will definitely be making this an annual trip

12/10/2025: This is going to be a long one. This place is five stars, more like seven, do you want character? This has it do you want architecture has that too? Do you want a beautiful view check, can you walk to town?yes. Do you like Ivy? This place has lots of it. The inside, it’s old. There’s necks and scratches, it feels like the kind of place you’ll never wanna leave. Staff? Fantastic. The rooms, unbelievable. The bathrooms? As nice as they could possibly be. Fabulous rain showers. The food, absolutely five star, the food service? Add another five stars. The atmosphere? Had another five stars. We went on a tour of Scotland in Ireland and this by far was the finest place we stayed. I actually had to stop and ask some of the staff people how they liked working there, because if you could choose the most fabulous place to have a job, this would be it. 25/08/2025: Vine aquí con mi pareja, sin tener conocimiento previo de ello - nos alojamos literalmente en un BnB aire enfrente y pensamos que se veía bien! El personal era increíble; el propietario nos reconoció cada vez que entramos y nos trató como a la realeza. El personal del bar era muy amable y servicial. Estaba claro que todo el bar era extremadamente aceptable y encantador! No podría recomendar más.

07/10/2025: Thomas is fantastic and we enjoyed swapping stories and hanging out for a pint. Definitely stop here. About as authentic of an Irish pub experience that you can get.

24/09/2025: Very friendly staff and well thought out interior design with funny quotes all around. I had a vegetable cream soup which had a remarkable, unique taste, I loved it.

20/08/2025: Went for dinner on a few occasions and I could not fault it. Amazing food, I would recommend the beef. Staff are nice and helpful. Great for the whole family.

14/08/2025: I dine here very often. The food is very good but the menu doesn't change and there are rarely specials. Service is excellent.

20/10/2025: Staying over night in a nearby hotel and popped in for dinner. Mary our server was tremendous, she made us feel welcome which made the experience that much better. The food was also very good. Would definitely recommend!

13/10/2025: just loved absolutely everything about this place , the was was 💯 percent . Our waiter was just brilliant funny . Not Irish and i didn't get his name but he was so lovely and professional . it was so busy and yet we had no delays and food was perfect .Definitely going back
