Mister S in Dublin

We went there last night for my birthday and really enjoyed our time! Special mention to Mollie and Loïc for taking care of us! We’ll be back!

The food was very average and the portions relatively small (at least for the beef for two and the ceviche appetizer). The ambiance is nice, and the restaurant is located on one of the main restaurant streets near the center. Reservations are definitely necessary in the evening. I would have expected the chimichurri to have parsley and oil instead of so much mayonnaise.

We had a lunchtime booking here as a later Christmas work lunch (end January) . It was everyone’s first time so we were all looking forward to it. The restaurant kindly made note of it being a special occasion and there was no pressure on us to leave within a timeframe. Starters were loved by us all. The mushrooms on toast with added truffle were super and personally the split end spring rolls I would have as my last meal… I still think about them and wonder can I sneak into town alone for a morsel… Mains were a variety of fish celeriac steak and chicken… I said I am ok with spicy which was my ego talking most definitely- wow!! The chicken was succulent and absolutely packed a spice! Sides of potatoes and aioli went great with it…clean plates from all of us. Desserts from espresso coffee to actual desserts also well eaten drank and appreciated. Loved the vibe, music, wood panelling and just bringing great tasty food to the palates!!

Everything was fantastic! From the minute we walked in the door and were handed a glass of prosecco to toast our anniversary to the Polaroid when we were leaving! Food is outstanding & the off menu portion of grilled focaccia was possibly the nicest bread I've ever eaten! Thank you all, we will be back 🙂

I ordered Smoked Shortrib Chimichurri and it was good!

Only certain restaurants have the ability to make you feel so cozy and at home. Such a beautiful layout. The food is outstanding and the staff are truly incredibly kind and genuine. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Dublin to visit, truly a magical restaurant. ❤️❤️

Wonderful dining experience (July 2026). We are still talking about how this was the best meal we had while on holiday in Ireland. Great service and a concise and appealing menu. The meat was prepared perfectly and each dish had great flavour combinations. Highly, highly recommend! Reservation needed.

This is a real gem. We had a delicious meal and the atmosphere is very good. The service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food in Dublin at a mid-range price.
