Mister S in Dublin

We had a very attentive waiter and the food was delicious. We had the beef tartare, beetroot dip, spring rolls which we shared between 4 of us for entree. Followed by fish, ribs, chicken and pork chop and a portion of all the side dishes. Loved the cabbage as not something I would normally have and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. We were visiting from Australia and our friends from Barcelona. Overall a lovely vibe and good value for delicious food.

Have never had a bad experience here. The day the burnt end rendang spring rolls come off the menu is the day I stop coming. They’re exceptionally delicious. As is everything else, though we always stick to the pork chop & piri chicken as mains! No point going unless the potatoes are one of your sides. Once you know your date book ahead to avoid disappointment. Great value, great food, great service.

Delicious food! They were out of the short rib unfortunately so will have to go back to try it as it looked great.

Great food and experience overall. The ribeye and the spring rolls were the stars of the show, don’t miss out on them.

A gem in the Irish culinary scene. The atmosphere, the staff, the ingredients, and the live-fire cookery, everything comes together beautifully. A place you will not be disappointed by no matter what you order. Our second time as good as first. Looking forward to the next already. Mister S reminds me of Fallow in the London. The greatest compliment I could pay them.

Exceptional evening from start to finish. 🔥 The staff were the standout. Our waiter Dan was attentive in a way that clearly wasn't going through the motions, and it genuinely felt like a dining experience rather than just a meal out. The spring rolls were a real highlight, and the chicken was a huge hit: beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. We rarely order chicken when we're out because there's usually so little done with it, so that alone says a lot. Even the follow-up was lovely. The owner emailed the next day to ask for our thoughts and replied personally within hours. That kind of care is rare. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend for a special night out or a great present (they do vouchers too) 👊🙌💥

Delicious food and cosy, comfy booth seating. It was very dark inside but that's definitely a vibe! The peach and straciatella was so tasty, and the shortrib with chimichurri was absolutely stunning! Everything so flavourful and memorable.

Hands down my new favourite restaurant in Dublin. From the moment we walked in the staff were so welcoming and helpful with picking the dishes from the menu. I could not get over how attentive the staff were at all times. Next the food, the starters were absolutely exceptional, I was dissapointed I didn’t order more because the 2 we had were delicious. The rendang burnt end spring rolls the beef was so tender and spiced perfectly with a spicy sauce to compliment them. The beef tartare on crispy potatoes were exceptional. For mains the smoked short rib which was incredibly tender and the steak was just phenomenal. I will be returning to Mister S in the near future as I enjoyed the experience so much. 10/10 from us🌟

An absolutely fantastic restaurant. My wife and I were there for lunch on friday and it was brilliant. Amazing food and outstanding service. We will definitely be back.
