The Vintage Kitchen in Dublin

What an awesome little restaurant! Great vibe of energy and the smell of good food cooking, with cool music playing in the background. I had the seafood chowder, and it was outstanding. The small bread pieces appetizer was very good, but the focacia bread served with the soup was heavenly. The peach/chocolate dessert was fantastic as well! This place is a 10!

First time eating in the Vintage Kitchen and it was a great experience. Ian and the other waitress whose name I didn't catch had the place running like clockwork and were very charming. It's a small space but I felt that lent to the atmosphere which is cosy and buzzing. The food was a knockout. We shared a shellfish in sauce starter which I will be thinking of for some time to come and then lamb and pork. All excellent. The wines, and their prices, are different from those on the website but are inkeeping with standard Dublin prices and they were very happy to allow us to try the Rioja before we got a bottle. We emerged full, happy and in need of a guinness to complete a perfect lunch which with Mulligans and other great options nearby is in easy reach. Thanks all. Mark&Maria.

Brilliant. 10/10. Exceptional food and equally exceptional service. Was lucky enough they had space for a walk-in. I’ve eaten worse at Michelin starred restaurants. Try the Friday set menu.

I've visited twice now, and have been delighted on both occasions. I love the creativity and originality of the dishes which are packed full of flavour and texture. You always get great, friendly service too.

Really enjoyed lunch at The Vintage Kitchen. It’s a small, charming spot with a lot of character, and the service was prompt, friendly and helpful throughout. I had the crispy potatoes to start, topped with Serrano ham, fennel and cucumber. The curry ketchup was fantastic — easily one of the highlights of the meal — and the whole dish was delicious and much more substantial than I expected. Honestly, I was already pretty full after the appetizer. I also ordered the Cajun seafood chowder, which was rich, creamy and packed with seafood, with bread on the side. It was excellent, but the portions were generous enough that I really could have ordered either the potatoes or the chowder and been perfectly satisfied for lunch rather than getting both. Everything felt freshly prepared, the flavours were excellent, and the service matched the quality of the food. Definitely one of the more memorable lunches I had in Dublin, and somewhere I’d happily return to — just with a better understanding of the portion sizes next time!

A hidden gem, definitely worth checking out whether you're a foodie or just looking for a nice space to share an evening with friends. The service we got was amazing, and the food absolutely faultless! It's a small space, so make sure to book in advance - you will not regret visiting!
