An Port Mór in Westport

A gem! Jimmy is great and they made us feel most welcome. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. We would come back in a heartbeat!

This is a little jewel that will surprise you palette with every mouthful! We were in Westport for the afternoon and i had remembered looking at this venue when voila ! We were standing in front of it and said lets see if they have a table..and by amazing chance the fitted us in. Relaxed atmosphere with super staff and a must go to place if you are within 50km it will be worth the drive in fact its worth a one night stay for the experience. Chapeau chef ! Simple ingredients cooked with passion. Thank you and look forward to our revisit Make sure you book ahead.

One of my favourite restaurants in Ireland. Rose and Frankie do an amazing job of creating something that feels really special and high-end, while still being completely welcoming and accessible. The food is exceptional — brilliantly cooked, with just enough of a twist to make it interesting, but never at the expense of simply being delicious. It’s the kind of place that your biggest foodie friend, your family or your grandparents could all go to and come away saying they’d had a brilliant experience. The hospitality is fantastic too. I’m not surprised that food from here has been served to a US President. What is surprising is that food and hospitality of that quality is available to everyone at such a reasonable price for the experience you get. Hands down one of my favourite places to eat in Ireland.

Got a booking for this spot a few days ahead. Absolutely excellent, we opted for the 44 euro choices and were not disappointed. Three of us each opted for different dishes so we felt every option was great.

A Port Mor did not disappoint. We enjoyed the three-course dinner, chose different dishes for each course, and shared tastes. Hard to pick a favorite, but the pavlova was a standout. The carafe of house white wine was just right for two.

Chef Mallon’s much revered expertise paired with a healthy dose of no-nonsense attitude makes for what may just be the finest dining experience in the west of Ireland

A little gem in Westport! My friend and I discovered this restaurant on July 11th's evening and we were not disappointed! Food was absolutely delicious, you could see that every dish was prepared with great local and high quality products and care. Each flavour mixing perfectly with the other. We loved every single dish and left no crumbs haha. Staff and owner were very welcoming and kind, we had such a lovely evening. They were super with my friend who is allergic to gluten and offered so many alternatives, she was delighted with her custom menu. A must try when in Westport!

An Port Mór was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. The menu was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the service was warm, attentive, and professional. Everything about the experience felt special. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly and would gladly return.
