03/04/2024: Was recommended to visit Sage while in Westport. They accommodated a birthday party at short notice and the food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. Would recommend to anyone

14/03/2024: Dillons is a good sized restaurant with a pub area and a main dining room. They required a reservation and table turnover was quick. We ordered the 10 oz steak and roasted chicken with mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to order and came with nicely seasoned onion rings and hot fries. The chicken was good and served with steamed broccoli and carrots. The food was good but the restaurant was very loud. Most tables had more than one kid and several were a bit out of control. The food was good but the overall experience was disappointing

03/01/2024: Went there New Years Eve. Staff were lovely, friendly, welcoming. Offered to top up my pint at one stage. Free shots to ring in the new year. Great selection of drinks.

28/03/2024: Poacher is an excellent dining place in Ballina. If you're looking to enjoy exceptional food, great service and fantastic atmosphere it's a restaurant you have to visit. Last weekend me and my friends celebrated my birthday there and I must say it was an absolute pleasure for all of us.

31/03/2024: Despite the confusion that occurred in the kitchen with the sirloins, the owner was so attentive and so friendly that we forgot about the mishap. He invited us to desserts and coffees. Wonderful treatment, the best of our entire trip to Ireland.

28/03/2024: Went here with my family for my birthday dinner. Lovely spot in town. Ambience is relaxing. Food was delightful and nicely presented as well as the dessert 👌 PASTEL DE NATAS are the best, staff are too good, they gave me a box of pastel de natas as a birthday treat. Furthermore, toilets are clean and smell so good, so I highly recommend Sol Rio Restaurant.

01/04/2024: I don't do much reviews nowadays but this restaurant deserves one. If you're somewhere near Clarmorris or coming from the Knock Shrine and looking for authentic Korean cuisine then this restaurant is best option. We went there as a group and we are all well attended. Not everything is perfect but they made sure our experience will be. The chef, the owner and specially the staff knows how to make sure that their customers are happy. When it was the time they are about to serve our table, the staff informed us that they didn't have enough rice at the moment and instead made our rice to half rice and half chips, - but they said another rice will be served. True enough it came although we only took one because serving is generous and we're full already. My friend ordered calamari but served with a wrong menu at first but it was replaced with the proper one few minutes after. To her surprise staff walks in with another plate of calamari. Staff said it's on the house. Food serving is generous and the place will make you feel welcome. Lots of aesthetic displays and there are some Korean goods for sale too. Their attention to detail and how they treat the customers are highly commendable. No wonder why for years, they are having a good reviews. We will surely be back here when we are nearby. Special mention to the two lovely ladies who accommodated us, which I forgot the names but I'm sure their names starts with A and the other is C or K. They really did well and they are so appreciated by our group. Hope the restaurant keep them there and have their efforts recognized.

11/03/2024: First time in Ballina and we wanted a spot for some food and to watch the rugby - after a quick Google, we found Cot and Cobble. Delicious food, portions are huge. Great atmosphere for the match, and all the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend and visit again if I'm ever in Ballina! 😊
