The Gallery in Westport

I came just for a drink, but the food seemed lovely! Such a beautiful gem in Westport, run by two friendly gentlemen who made my evening with a medium-dry Romanian glass of wine. I was just passing by this lovely town, but now I have a good reason to come back. Totally recommended!

Menu is fantastic, dishes you don’t often see at tapas and all had so much flavour. Relaxing atmosphere.

I had drinks and a few small plates with my husband and parents and it was such a lovely experience. The food and wine were really delicious but what made it special was the very kind, friendly and patient service. It was a truly warm and gentle welcome, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back the next time I’m in Westport!

We sampled Tom's Tapa's and wine - twice - on a recent visit to West Port. This is a real WP gem - tucked away down an alleyway but well worth finding. The atmosphere is brilliant - real cool. loads of vinyl displayed and played! There's a wide range of cool, funk, blues, world music and more - a real change from the norm. Debs changed the LPs on a vintage high quality deck - delivery a quality full sound but not overbearing. The food was equally enticing - real tasty tapas all prepared in a tiny kitchen. The wine was super quality and not mad expensive - in fact quite reasonable. 5 stars all around. But the most unique feature of The Gallery is Tom himself. He works bloody hard but is full of craic and very engaging with customers - with quick witty humour. Tom has a broad reach of knowledge - well read and up to discussing anything. We will always call when in the area.

We had a wonderful evening at The Gallery. The sharing board was more than enough for the three of us, along with the fabulous Ragu (of which there are a number of different offers). The wine list is exceptional as is the atmosphere with Tom and his team spinning vinyl - personally loved the Nat King Cole. The service was fabulous and everyone who came into the restaurant was greeted fondly. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Westport.

Really great place in the centre of Westport. We only had some of the really amazing organic wines. So good! Definitely have to go back to sample the food - and try more of the wines 😊 lovely relaxed atmosphere or interesting conversations

Super fun night at The Gallery. The food was just great, service so friendly and wine and vermouth - delicious. We loved the atmosphere and the community spirit. Can't wait to return.

Good quality local and foreign products, including wines and an amazingly delicious selection of mostly Irish cheese. The owner made us feel very welcome by coming outside to meet us and to tell us more about the products, which then developed into a very nice conversation about all kinds of interesting topics. Overall, an excellent experience!

The best charcuterie board we've ever had! We also asked for wine recommendations which were truly exceptional!

Delicious food, amazing wine and a very funny host (with the humour of Philomena Cunk). Recommended!
