24/04/2026: A great waiter really put on a show for me made the pizza right under my nose really made me feel at home he had really nice hair and some stunning eyes. He was about 5’6 or around that with fairly big deltoids and a decent size forehead. He knew loads of Irish was telling me how he has a savage Irish teacher and has great passion for Irish he thought me the phrase “pog mo hon” really nice lad will definitely be coming back☘️🎉🥳

The service from Katie and the two Amy's was excellent, they were so friendly and great craic!!!
So good we went here for two nights for dinner!!

08/06/2026: I was in Westport with 4 friends celebrating my birthday and wanted a meal in a nice restaurant. I had no idea about La Bella Vita beforehand but it looked good from the outside and, although it lacked the usual Italian staples - bolognese, lasagna etc - the menu looked interesting. It totally surpassed all expectations. Everything tasted very fresh, was cooked to perfection and, for the quality, the bill was very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend La Bella Vita.

14/05/2026: Bar staff are extremely poor standard. Haven't got a clue. Bald guy behind bar is more more interested in talking to people than serving. Still seving at 11-40 and asked him for a drink and shouts finished u think we here all night. If it owned it he wouldn't have a job no customer skills at all

Even the TV was having issues...

06/06/2026: The food was so processes. I ordered a turkey and ham dinner. Both meats were so finely sliced that they were more suitable for putting in a sandwich rather than serve up for dinner. The stuffing was shaped like a hockey puck, was odd grey/green colour and had the texture of Playdough. They clearly don't cook all the food on site but buy it in precooked. My partner had a steak which, unfortunately, was extremely tough.
The seating was saggy and uncomfortable.
I wouldn't eat there again.
03/06/2026: Cobbler's bar is a great place to eat, have a drink and listen to music, including informal bands that come to play during the week.

31/03/2026: The Creel in Westport what a spot! I had the katsu curry and it was excellent, perfectly crisp with a light, flavourful sauce that really brought it together. Service was genuinely warm and easygoing, you feel looked after without it ever being over the top. Sitting there with the view out the window just made the whole thing even better. I’ll definitely be back.
