The Tavern Bar & Restaurant in Westport

We visited The Tavern Bar & Restaurant with our family during our trip to Westport, and it was one of the highlights of our visit. The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish we ordered was fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. It was truly some of the best food we have had in a long time. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. A huge thank you to the entire team for providing such a wonderful dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely return the next time we are in Westport. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

Great place to eat and drink, limited outside parking which is free for customers, nice selection of food at reasonable prices, grat staff, quick service and a great pint of Guinness

A thoroughly enjoyable evening! The cozy pub atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home and creates a truly authentic Irish ambiance. The burgers were absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, and incredibly flavorful. The service was also very friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. Anyone in the area should definitely stop by – we highly recommend it!

Absolutely loved this meal the surf & turf was cooked perfectly and juicy lobster and the chocolate fudge cake was perfect ending rich, warm served with Whiskey ice cream Great food , Great service.

Stopped in for dinner on a motorcycling trip. Service was great and the food was excellent. Didn't have food as nice for the remainder of the trip.

What a fabulous place very attentive staff the surroundings are comfortable and set around the bar small menu but omg so tasty and pipping hot hubby said fish and chips were the best he's had in Ireland and believe me he's fussy short Rib just fell off the bone and the crumble was perfect definatly be coming back and very soon

Food for the second night in a row was excellent. Service people seemed to be a little distant after taking orders. Apparently have to go to the bar to pay tab. Could have walked out either night without paying the bill.
