Amazing restaurant and bar not far from the harbour in Westport. Staff are lovely, food was amazing. I had the salmon, really recommend a visit.

The food was delicious! It was freshly cooked and piping hot. The beef and Guiness stew and the chicken curry are very good. The staff are very attentive and helpful, especially Diego who is an absolute gem! 😊 Diego attended to our every need and made sure everything was okay for us. After climbing Croagh Patrick on a wet, windy day, a meal in The Tavern was exactly what we needed! Diego, you are a credit to Goa and Ireland are very lucky to have you!

Terrific place. As a vegetarian I hugely appreciated a choice of real options on menu. Mushroom pate and cauliflower tacos were both super. Staff well trained and attentive. Big pot of tea and actual mugs? What a nice change. Big portions too. Worth a visit.

Great restaurant with excellent food. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. We had the tuna and the fish and chips, highly recommended.

Of the handful of establishments on this strip, this is the best- absolutely delicious chowder filled with fish (bread delicious too), perfectly cooked cod, lamb starter plate was a novel choice and an amazing couldron of steamed mussels in white sauce. Really hearty. Great atmosphere. Very happy.

It was grand. Busy place at 4pm. We stopped just for quick bite. We both had Chowder. It was good, but I've eaten better elsewhere. This one had bit too much cream. Servuce was just ok. Our food arrived faster than our drinks.
