This Must Be The Place in Westport

☕️ Coffee: Delicious 🫔 Sausage roll: Flakey, falling apart, simply perfect ❤️ Scone: just one word, "yum"! Funny story about the scone - when we were buying it, one of the other customers started telling us how it was "the best scone he has ever eaten in his life". When walking around the village later, we bumped into this customer and he was even asking us straight away: "was that the best scone that you have ever eaten?! Surely must have been!" Well I must say it's definitely on the leaderboard! 🤩

Myself and my wife ran into this cosy coffee shop to take cover from the rain. We were greeted by the staff with a welcoming smile. We both ordered lattes which were the nicest we've had. We will be back.

Portions could be bigger for the price. Very tasty food. Staff is lovely. Sell local produce which is a lovely touch. Great coffee

I was disappointed. It was Sunday afternoon the day was cold. I was looking forward to a coffee lunch and catchup with my mom. The staff were pleasant but everything felt rushed. Everytime the door opened it was so cold. Food arrived very quickly. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich. It was ridiculously expensive taste was fine but nothing special. It was a bit slow cooked beef brisket on slaw with a very sloppy mayonnaise and no side at all. As soon as we had finished eating our plates were taken it felt like a hint to leave. There were a few people waiting for tables standing looking at all the diners tables. I could feel the staff watching our table to see if we were leaving to offer to next customers. My mom kept saying we should finish our coffee and leave they need the table. All in all we were in and out in 30 minutes. No catchup as expected. I gave 3 stars as food was fine, nothing special. Coffee was nice. Staff were pleasant. The place was uncomfortable and food overpriced. The layout doesn't suit as customers have nowhere to wait while waiting for a seat leaving them standing looking at the dinners. The obvious rush to move us out for next customer took away from the experience.

Excellent food. The French onion soup was sublime. The special was a lamb kebab and it was exceptionally nice! Coffee was sublime and we were provided with top service. I will visit this café every time I'm in Westport.

Had the French onion soup and the lamb kebab special. Both were fantastic. The soup is €12 because a lot of time goes into making a proper French onion. It was quite filling, worth the price. The lamb was so tender and the roasted plum complemented nicely. Loved the tzaziki.

Friendly staff, open to discussing coffee equipment I was interested in investing in despite them not selling it. Excellent coffee and fresh tasty baked goods.
