Pizza base was thin and delicious. Toppings (Quatro staggione & Diavola) were excellent. Diavola was suitably spicy. Excellent service. Highly recommend
27/06/2026: A lovely little shop in Westport with a cozy atmosphere. The pizza oven is right in the middle of the room, so you can watch the pizza being made. The pizza chef is from Tuscany, and you can taste it: the thin dough is very close to a classic Italian pizza. It was truly delicious.
Most pizzas cost over €20, which is quite expensive, but the quality is excellent. Since the restaurant is small and very popular, reservations are recommended.

20/05/2026: Totally lived up to the hype, a really special restaurant. Fantastic service from our Hungarian waitress, everything cooked perfectly and full of fresh flavour. An essential stop in Westport.
02/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, delicious dishes made with quality ingredients, everything is homemade, in a lovely setting, friendly service, very good craft beer.

13/07/2026: Absolute joke kids could only go on the boats not aloud where shorts on the slides so bring trousers for the kids if you do decide to go, we drove an hour and a half from sligo to see the place not great at all worst experience ever we taught we would have a fantastic day with the child bit ended up leaving after half an hour waste of a journey... i did not like it as you got rid all of the god stuff
12/07/2026: Just visited this beautiful site Thursday and found out that it is closing for the next two years for renovation works. The house is beautiful but definitely in need of some TLC, would definitely revist to see it in all its glory once work has been carried out. We particularly enjoyed the Swan pedalo boats as this was a new experience for my kids. Would totally recommend a visit once it is up and running again

18/05/2026: After climbing Croagh Patrick we went into Westport, looking for a place for lunch. Went into The West Bar. Lovely atmosphere. Bright and cheerful. Food was really good. We had the Chicken and Stuffing Panini which was like a Christmas dinner in a roll and it came with a small gravy bowl. We also had a steak sandwich which came with peppercorn sauce and tasty really good. Had a glass of Coke and a Guinness and got change from €50. Menu had large selection. Staff were friendly and polite. Highly recommend. Would definitely return.

13/08/2025: Didn’t eat here, but wouldn’t go back for drinks. Bartenders were not friendly at all and refused to make mixed drinks for Americans, but then made them for their friends who ordered right after. One acted as if he didn’t know what Tito’s vodka was. They had great live music and a lively crowd, but a very unwelcoming bunch. Americans should skip this spot and spend their money elsewhere. One of the few pubs the group had anything negative to say about.

08/08/2025: The Staff were so welcoming as we walked in and the food was so tasty Really enjoyed it my Husband had the beef burger and i had the chicken fillet burger and our little girls portion of pasta was perfect service was really good The lad that served us was really friendly we will be back

08/09/2024: Very disappointed because we didn't even get in. It says on the internet that it's open, but we found a sign on the door saying it's closed. We were diverted from our route because of this cafe
23/08/2024: Stopped here for a quick sandwich, very tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly.
