Coast Bar in Westport

Just visited this beautiful site Thursday and found out that it is closing for the next two years for renovation works. The house is beautiful but definitely in need of some TLC, would definitely revist to see it in all its glory once work has been carried out. We particularly enjoyed the Swan pedalo boats as this was a new experience for my kids. Would totally recommend a visit once it is up and running again

Very opulent manor house. A lot of history to be discovered in the about 30 rooms that are accessible to the public. We planned for a 30 minute visit and stayed two hours - there is just so much interesting stuff inside this house. There is even a dungeon. Unfortunately the upper floor has a mold problem and some of the other areas there are in dire need of repair or at least a touch-up. Because of that, they will close the house soon, renovate it thoroughly and then reopen it in two and a half years (that would be 2029 ...). Admission is 15 Euros, same for the guided tour. Woul recommend to explore the house on your own, since the tour only covers the first floor.

Well worth a visit. The house and grounds are fab. The adventure park is cool.

Beautiful gardens and house, camping nearby and a 5 minute walk to Moran's for the best Guinness in Ireland !

A must visit when in Westport! It's a nice walk from town and great historic tour. I highly recommend!

Great place to visit. Shutting down shortly for renovations for 2 years, get in and see this place before it closes its doors.

Main house is only open at set times so unfortunately didn't get to visit, the grounds are under development but nice to walk through to town and quays.
