19/09/2026: Fantastic place to eat, doesn’t disappoint. As part of a group of six, spending a few days away in Westport, we ate here twice, for lunch and breakfast. The food is great, no issues for anyone across either meal, empty plates at the end ! The staff are lovely, very natural and relaxed. This place is well worth a visit.

16/09/2026: Delicious food, highly recommended! However, it's very popular, so you might have to wait for a table.

06/09/2026: Went on a work end of summer day out, had the West booked for a party of 12. Seats were reserved for us, staff were attentive & friendly. The food was fantastic, everyone’s dish was lovely and everyone was delighted with their choices which is rare in a group of 12. The Lamb Shank was superb, as was the chowder, steak, beef, lasagne, bacon & cabbage, curry. Such a choice. The desserts were equally as good. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and filling our bellies. We will be back 👏👏

19/08/2026: Spent some time at Loftys whilst in Westport for the evening. Landlady was really friendly and welcoming. Prices were good and Guinness was well poured. Will be back again soon

04/09/2026: Lovely little pub, great Guinness.

02/08/2026: Great pub and as Mayo had won Sam the previous Sunday the talk was about football. As a Kerryman it was great to hear all the locals talking about the match. Pints were good and service was excellent. Nice and relaxed and got seats so was fine and relaxing.

04/09/2026: Sip inside history- this place is a Time Machine that serves a great pint as well! Not much has changed in this traditional old shop-pub. A lovely place to grab a pint and find some chat in a more quiet & comfortable setting allowing you to just take in the all charm that’s been preserved here. Great banter from the barman the night I was there too.

27/05/2026: It's got everything you need for a great time at a cracking pub: a great atmosphere, amazing memorabilia, fantastic and friendly staff, and great Guinness. And my 2nd cousin owns it. Just as well I live in Singapore as it would be my 2nd home if I was local.

12/06/2026: The best bookshop in Ireland. The staff are so friendly, & there’s a gorgeous view. You can also call or email to order any book (even if it’s not listed on their website). My order arrived 2 days later!

06/06/2026: Beautiful shop, lovely enthusiastic people there who are genuinely interested in you and your love of books. We didn't have a coffee but I think there was coffee making facilities if you wanted to have a longer browse. ❤️

16/08/2026: Beautiful Indian food. We got the chicken balti, chicken jalfrazi, side of masala sauce, pilau rice, chips and garlic nan. Everything had so much flavour. Would highly recommend. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Great value for money.
