The best restaurants in Westport

07/11/2024: Everything is delicious, if you like crepes this place will not disappoint you. The latte and Americano were excellent. The ice creams are delicious and the place is very quiet, if you are in Westport don't hesitate to try something from here.

29/10/2024: Excellent home made gelato. Crepes were super. And lovely coffee.

07/12/2024: It is amazing place in Westpor MY Irlanda, a place whit history, wonderfull and very care eache space, the house and gardens. Now in chritsmas all is completely iluminate and can visit Sta. Claus house.

21/10/2024: I hope Stephan reads this. Primarily a restaurant must be about the food,everything else is secondary,you can put up with a lot if the food is top notch. But.... not only is the food first class,(I had venison) everything else was too. It's not big,it's got character as has Stephan and the lady that met us at the front(forgive me for not remembering your name) . The only problem is....it's so good ,many know it it's not huge ,so you must reserve a table. Granted we went on spec and they very kindly fitted us in . As the French might say "un repas exqui". Bon soir a tous.

15/10/2024: Overpriced and disappointing. Was rushed and the staff did not know the allergens. Food was nice but for the price you’d expect more. It’s very rough around the edges which is a shame. It was mid week and not too busy but for the guts of €200 you’d expect more attention to detail and not up be rushed. The starters were not cleared and the main arrived.

13/11/2024: Stopped off for a snack here while out walking along the Clew Bay coast. Fabulous chowder. The new black pudding starter was great also. (I sneak in here on my evening "stroll" also, for a chat and a pint,,,, shhhh😅🤫)

13/11/2024: A cery quaint and cosy bar/restaurant set in a beautiful location, just a short distance from Westport Town. Really good food. The fish and chips were delicious, and the Mussels devine. Great service by friendly, helpful, and happy staff. A real treasure of a place and a must on your list if you're visiting Westport.

30/11/2024: Lovely atmosphere Food tasty my monkfish a little tough. Waiter reheated it. Caters for coeliac. Downstairs a nicer. Atmosphere

30/10/2024: A super cozy place, perfect for a romantic date. We couldn't be happier with the food. I highly recommend the Sirloin Steak. Everything was delicious and not at all expensive. The portions were very large and the presentation of the dishes was wonderful. We didn't have room for it. dessert but just seeing the desserts on other tables we couldn't resist!! The dessert of the day was delicious!!! And the price is very reasonable

19/12/2024: Love staying at The Wyatt when in Westport which was Sunday 15th December last . The staff are so friendly and dinner and breakfast was beautiful. Great value breaks for the winter mts

04/12/2024: Lovely family owned hotel in the centre of Westport. Wonderful staff that are always very professional and welcoming.

30/11/2024: lovely hotel and the bar and restaurant staff were really friendly. the food in the restaurant was delicious hats off to the chefs. breakfast was very good as well. Good location couple of minutes and your in the thick of westport. only negative I would have was the shower in the room wasn't great other than that the key for the room was a bit annoying. I would highly recommend this hotel the pints were good as well

03/12/2024: I am absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism and customer care at this establishment. I booked a table one month in advance for my husband’s birthday dinner—a special family occasion including our child—only to receive a message on the day stating that the restaurant would be closed in the afternoon and our only option was to dine in the pub with their standard pub menu. How is a pub menu an acceptable alternative to a restaurant reservation for a planned family celebration? This completely ruined our evening. No apology, no attempt to make amends, and no respect for our time or the importance of the occasion. If you value reliability, professionalism, or basic courtesy, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. They clearly have no regard for their customers. Unacceptable.

14/11/2024: Wonderful charcuterie and cheese and wine - for very reasonable prices!

13/11/2024: I visited Westport in October and was glad that a spot at the counter here was open when I stopped for lunch. It's a tiny venue but so charming and has great food/wine. I had the lobster bisque, perfect on an overcast day. The wine offerings by the glass were good as well. The desserts looked yummy yet I didn't partake. I love restaurants with counters, perfect for us solo travelers and I had a lovely conversation with a local. What more could you ask for!?

24/08/2024: Unarguably the best pour of Guinness in Westport. Lovely little local bar that makes a stranger feel at home. Pay attention to the rules! No bad language, No insulting, No singing.

08/10/2024: What a delightful tearoom in Westport. Really enjoyed our soup and soda bread, followed by tea and cake. All wonderfully fresh. The staff were so friendly and can't wait to return in December. The autumn decor is so lovely and can't wait to see the Christmas decor

14/09/2024: We enjoyed cappuccino, tea and cake at Currys yesterday. Great ladies who can explain everything to you. The small cake with the cream was a “must try”.😃
