Il Vulcano in Westport

Very friendly staff, tasty food, and delicious wine! We thought this was the best restaurant in Westport.

Absolutely authentic Italian food in an atmosphere that's just like Italy. Recommended starter: Bruschetta – delicious! The best Bolognese in years, penne arrabiata to die for. Espresso just like in Rome. It doesn't get any better. The staff is very friendly and helpful and goes out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. I'll definitely be back! Thanks to the whole team!

We ate there one weekday evening and had two very good pizzas. The staff were incredibly kind and we had a very good meal.

Absolutely incredible dining experience at Il Vulcano! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The mussels were hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and served in the most delicious, flavorful broth that I honestly could have eaten on its own with a spoon. Just outstanding. Then came the lasagna… wow. I was completely blown away. Rich, comforting, and layered with so much flavor — easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted.
