Absolutely incredible dining experience at Il Vulcano! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The mussels were hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and served in the most delicious, flavorful broth that I honestly could have eaten on its own with a spoon. Just outstanding. Then came the lasagna… wow. I was completely blown away. Rich, comforting, and layered with so much flavor — easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted. We had a wonderful meal here tonight, with 3 adults, 2 children calling in on the late side. Extremely welcoming service despite coming in toward the end of service (and with two small kids to boot). They got our kids served quickly with some of the best pesto pasta we’ve had! And for the adults, really lovely wine and incredible mains! We were delighted with the sole-wrapped prawns, the zucchini & prawn ravioli, and the pork special. Highly recommend this spot for Italian food in Westport!

Wow, where do I begin?! We had the minestrone soup, diavola pizza, mussels, pollo al funghi, and tiramisu for dessert. EVERYTHING was amazing. The prices were not extravagant. The service was fast and courteous. Highly recommend this restaurant for the best Italian food in Westport!

I was there with a group of 10 people, and because the menu is so diverse, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was such a nice surprise to see two types of risotto on the menu, but the prawn linguine with pistachio pesto sounded good too, so I decided to order that. The experienced staff is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was great and I'll definitely go back to try the risotto.
