27/03/2024: Great breakfast. Great service and lovely staff.

25/01/2024: Great spot. Owner managed. Waiting for a bus in Westport this Cafe is a short walking distance. I had a coffee and a one then d morning while waiting for a Public Bus to Galway.

11/03/2024: Friendly staff. Great location. Lovely food, great choice, very good g/f options.

04/03/2024: Revamped entrance & upper bar area. Looks well. Was there about 1.45pm. There was only one group of retirees there having coffee & they were leaving when I got there. The waitress was busy chatting to someone at the bar - she ignored me. I eventually approached the bar & enquired if I could get food there, or if I needed to go down to the other (lower) area of the bar (as used to be the case). She seemed surprised that I was looking for food (at lunchtime!). I then asked if I could have a menu, which she produced 2 copies of. She took my order pretty quickly & arrived with a nice jug of iced water & 2 sets of cutlery. It was ages before the food arrived. I ordered chicken wings with salad. A waiter arrived with a finger bowl - the water was well cooled by the time the food arrived! The food was lovely, so it's a pity about the service. The proprietor passed in & out a few times while I was there. He made no attempt to engage with any of the customers. Poor form I thought. I used to go there in the past & found it lot more friendly.

02/04/2024: Top experience - superb seafood, kind staff and vibrant atmosphere! The oysters couldn't be any fresher (straight from the sea to our plates!), the scallops were the best I have ever eated (gave me goosebumps, no joke!) and both the ray and the pork belly were just pure perfection. If I could go beyond 5 star rating, I would - really a place that redefines what a fish can taste like. Thank you very much for an unforgettable evening!

13/03/2024: The owner was incredibly friendly. He made me feel very welcome. The gelato was so tasty and the coffee was great, as well. Highly recommend.

14/02/2024: If you're on an adventure in Ireland this is a must stop while in Westport. It's the very best place to warm up with a pot of tea and a good book. The staff was so lovely and the pastries are delicious.

03/04/2024: Been in this bar last 2 times we have been in mayo, staff are so friendly and helpful especially Anna and the owner lofty is a lovely man. Was here 2 night over Easter weekend had great time and really enjoyed the music on both night. Will defo be back again. Would highly recommend a visit to this bar.

20/02/2024: I have no words to describe how wonderful this place is. Never felt more at home in a pub than I do coming here. Great friendly service. Always great fun and for me sometimes somewhere to relax for a little bit. Definitely somewhere I say I'll go out for one and end up staying until closing.

26/08/2023: Les serveuses étaient très aimable. On a été très bien accueillie avec la poussette et les deux enfants. La cuisine est correct.

20/09/2023: The food was superb. If the staff were awful, we would still be excited to go back and try something else. Thankfully, they are polite and friendly. We will be talking about our evening here for some time to come.

02/04/2024: Superb indian food! The meat was just so tender, you could literally pull it apart with a fork. We had both chicken and lamb, both prepared to perfection! I would definitely recommend getting the mixed platter for two as a starter - it provides a diverse mix of small dishes that were all just so tasty. The mains didn't disappoint either, punchy in flavours and perfect in texture! One callout is that the portions are massive - we took an extra naan with our dish and could have done without :)
