The best restaurants in Westport

18/07/2026: Attended the Wyatt's restaurant with a group of 15 people. First off, waiting staff were exceptional. All three of our servers were highly professional, friendly and very attentive. I was highly impressed with the attention they provided us during our meal and I would give these staff members 5 stars. Sadly their exceptional service was overshadowed heavily by the very poor food experience. Not one of our party was impressed with the food provided. Our food was poorly presented on the plate, many dishes were overcooked or seemed to be reheated - double cooked chips, burgers dried out from being left under hot racks, etc. Salad items were soft/whilting, chowder with aniseed was revolting and was light on any presence of fish. The Dahl was Dolmio sauce with some lentils mixed in. The crown jewel, however, was the roast chicken dish, like bone-ridden roadkill scrapped off the road, cooked at 400 degrees and served with a watery sauce to take the bad look off it. Food overall was very bland, lacking flavour, poorly presented and was highly disappointing for a professionally cooked meal.

13/07/2026: Just back from a gorgeous overnight stay at The Wyatt Hotel, Westport. Awesome experience. Amazingly welcoming dog friendly hotel and staff. Can't wait to get back again 😃

05/09/2026: Really disappointing experience at Blouser’s in Westport tonight. We came in while in Westport for a charity event and to watch the fight from Manchester, and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely unwelcome by the male bartender. We ordered drinks and he poured them without mentioning beforehand that the bar was cash only. Only after pouring them did he abruptly tell us “cash only”, meaning we then had to go and find a cash machine. Surely that’s something you mention to customers before taking and pouring their order? After that, his attitude towards us was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, including abruptly asking us to move. We weren’t looking for special treatment — just a drink, the fight and a good night in Westport. Everywhere else we’ve been tonight has been welcoming and friendly, which unfortunately made the attitude here stand out even more. We left feeling like our custom simply wasn’t wanted. Based on our experience tonight, I genuinely couldn’t recommend the place. There are plenty of other pubs in Westport where you’ll be made to feel welcome — spend your money there instead.

26/08/2026: We called in for our evening meal the place was absolutely spotless the food was delicious I would highly recommend.

27/09/2026: Popped in on our west coast tour a couple of weeks ago.... Excellent

26/09/2026: Guy with blue glasses that worked the till was very rude. We walked out instead of waiting for a table as we were not made to feel welcome at all. It was disappointing as we were really looking forward to trying the place and had waited a year to go.
