Delicious lunch here recently. Staff were so friendly and the owner was on hand and very attentive. Food was tastefully selected local produce with a great range of drinks to choose from. Booking is not possible to be sure to get down early to get a seat!

We had been recommended Saviour Fare by Mike from Mikes Fancy Cheese and it certainly did not disappoint. We had a lovely meal with great wine. Alain was a wonderful host and this meal will be one of the highlights be of my holiday in Eire.

Savoir Fare in Westport is an absolute gem. Everything on the table was Irish produce, incredible Achill Island smoked salmon, beautiful local cheeses and unreal brown bread. Simple food done exceptionally well. Alain’s passion for Irish artisan produce comes through in every detail. Honest, high quality food that we are lucky to have in Mayo. One of the best food experiences I’ve had in a long time.

27/05/2026: It's got everything you need for a great time at a cracking pub: a great atmosphere, amazing memorabilia, fantastic and friendly staff, and great Guinness. And my 2nd cousin owns it. Just as well I live in Singapore as it would be my 2nd home if I was local.

10/08/2026: We booked early evening to take advantage of the set menu, which seemed to offer some delicious options. The setting is lovely, on the first floor of a building off the main street in Westport. A great spot for people watching. Service was really friendly, which we really appreciated. Food was a bit more hit and miss - we both agreed the starters were incredibly delicous, but the rest didn't meet that standard particularly. That said, we had a great time and enjoyed the meal a lot - perhaps if we were return we would choose from the main menu instead. Would return to try more.
01/08/2026: We really appreciated our young waiter who took great care of us, all his recommendations were excellent and he made the effort to speak in French, which was very cute. We had a very good family dinner, with beautiful plates of good quality products, both meat and fish.
