27/12/2024: This is my second visit to this shop a few months apart , I thought i would try again however-i n this day and age, there’s no excuse for poor customer service. As someone who works in retail myself, I believe the very least staff can do is greet potential customers with a simple 'hello.'
22/12/2024: A beautifully curated shop with mix of vintage and contemporary items at surprisingly reasonable prices.
Whenever I am visiting Westport this is one of my must-see places, for a browse and a chat.
It is a real stand-out shop in Westport and well worth a visit.

20/05/2025: If we weren’t going to a wedding,we would have left after the first night. The room in very dirty, with a springy mattress, which had blood stains on it. The sheets had been changed but a duvet had a number of stained on it too. Under the bed cleanlyhadn’t been cleaned in an age. The shower temperature when from very hot to scorching. At €304 euro for two nights it was the worst place we stayed in in over 25 years.
21/04/2025: Amazing coffee and bagels. Most importantly the staff loved our dogs. Got them each a beautiful pup cup & bowl of water as a surprise for us! Highly recommend :)

03/02/2025: Just got Southern fried chicken it was done in the deep fryer disgusting burnt and like rubber don't buy food here should have no stars!!!
03/01/2025: Really disappointing kebab.
Thrown in a box, no chance to pick it up.
A weird spicy sauce. Mostly salad with a few bit of meat.
We also got garlic chips which were absolutely drowned in a very runny garlic mayo. They were ok.

09/05/2025: Me and my wife had dinner at The Tavern two nights running as the food was really good there and it was within walking distance from our accommodation.
The staff are very friendly and attentive.
Service was very quick and the food was awesome.
We will definitely visit again!
08/05/2025: Went to the Tavern on Wednesday evening. The food was absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere and service. Amazing spot for food and drink, especially the outdoor seating area. Great for a pint in the evening. The young supervisor was so friendly and helpful, and she went into such detail about the menu and questions we had. Thanks, Cheyanne. Hope to back soon for another great evening, this summer !!!

28/04/2025: Lovely place. Great food,real flavours. Relaxing atmosphere.
Competent waiting staff, wasn't hanging over you but was there when you wanted something.
All reasonably priced too.
I'll definitely be back.
No photos coz I was in the company of who I wanted to talk to.

20/09/2023: The food was superb. If the staff were awful, we would still be excited to go back and try something else. Thankfully, they are polite and friendly. We will be talking about our evening here for some time to come.
13/09/2023: Stunning restaurant with great surroundings. The food was fabulous, Mussels and Piri Piri Prawns are to die for. The service was excellent and the prices are resonable for the quality and presentation of the food. Well done No8 thank you.

19/11/2024: Food was lovely as usual, service was good, but once 8.20pm came, we felt like we had to leave, staff started cleaning up & setting the place for breakfast, mostly residential people there, I just felt pushed out.
13/10/2024: We dined in Porto’s for a birthday meal and we have a lovely time, the food was lovely. We had a very kind waitress, Hattie, she was extremely helpful and attentive
