West Kebab in Westport

Very good food with very fresh ingredients and large portions. Restaurant is clean but toilets could do with an overhaul. Staff was super friendly

I ordered a kebab and I have a kids meal. The kebab was huge, I couldn't eat it all. A large portion of fries. The kebab was very good, lots of salads, sauces and lots of meat. Very nice staff, especially one older employee. The only downside of the visit - the guy taking the order didn't even ask what sauce to go with the kebab. For a quick meal, I recommend it. You can hear music in the room, which gives a nice atmosphere.

Entrance on street level and door was held open. We dined in, ordered at the counter and took a seat. No one in apart from us but it was around 18:00. Back where I lived in England, when they asked if you want sauce they only put chilli sauce on your kebab, here they asked if we wanted sauce but we checked what he meant because at a previous place in Balbriggan they smothered the kebab in garlic sauce and a thousand island sauce. At this establishment sauce means garlic sauce and Chillli sauce just as well we checked as neither of us like garlic sauce. I ordered the mix kebab and it was slices of lamb doner and chicken doner, the food was hot, it was tasty, what more do you want. €22.50

Banging food. Twice in one week. Will recommend to all my friends coming over from the states.
