Loftys in Westport

Been in this bar last 2 times we have been in mayo, staff are so friendly and helpful especially Anna and the owner lofty is a lovely man. Was here 2 night over Easter weekend had great time and really enjoyed the music on both night. Will defo be back again. Would highly recommend a visit to this bar.

I have no words to describe how wonderful this place is. Never felt more at home in a pub than I do coming here. Great friendly service. Always great fun and for me sometimes somewhere to relax for a little bit. Definitely somewhere I say I'll go out for one and end up staying until closing.

Three years ago during covid we happened to pass by this place . The sign said “ live music inside “ which was a blessing considering the lock down mask wearing confusion at the time .We walked in asked about the live music and was told any station you want to listen to is available live … on the radio …. We stayed for the weekend … the people … the staff .. the owner ( dropped us home after hours ) …. Do not come to Westport without spending a day here … I made friends three years ago that I still have ….walk in here and you won’t want to leave ….Westport at it’s best … check out the pics and it sums it up .Lofty .. the “ music feeds the sole “ .. I have to admit threw me … the rest …. Billy conellyesque !!! Genius .See ye next time . Martin you are a cunning linguist …. Loved the humour in the signage .
