29/06/2025: It was ok. Prices were a bit higher than I've seen in other outlets.

23/06/2025: The wooden mills is a great lifestyle store, everything is of the highest quality. Great cafe on site also.

07/06/2025: We were on holiday and popped into Hineys. We were made to feel very welcome by the people there including the barman and owner. Well worth a visit.

17/06/2025: Had high expectations as had been recommended by someone that knows good quality food. Atmosphere was nice 2 girls working where lovely but other men not friendly to strangers. Waited over 40 mins for mains table next to us who ordered after is got seved first and they also had a long delay from first item been served to fifth. I understand its not fast food but its a Tuesday night I wouldn't expect to wait thay long for a medium steak sandwich and a med rare 50/50. Good taste but overcooked chips burned and no pink in both steaks. Tried to grab attention of male member of staff several times while waiting on food and once food arrived to show well cooked steak but no check back and he kept looking away every time he went into the kitchen. When we paid no ask as to how our meal was a sure sign for me they get complaints. Would not recommend

13/06/2025: We came in here after reading all the excellent reviews and we were really looking forward to coming in here for a good night.The biggest letdown of our 2 weeks in Ireland.Yes it was a Tuesday night and possibly Tuesdays nights in Byrne's bar are maybe always awful and if we came any other night it might have been different but when we entered there were 3 others sitting at the bar and I asked if they did food.The reply was no and it's cash only in here.Wow how to make you feel welcome indeed.we did order a pint but couldn't wait to get out of the place. judging by other reviews I don't think that was the owner who served us and honestly I couldn't care less now but we did tell everyone else staying at the Ellison hotel we spoke to,to avoid Byrne's bar and I hope they did..I really don't like giving bad reviews at all but I just had to here.it really was an awful experience

22/06/2025: Wanted somewhere to eat and a friend recommended lillies and by god we were not disappointed. The lady that served us was the nicest woman ever and so helpful. The food was unreal. The food was 10/10.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED..

19/06/2025: Lovely spot to jump in for a quick bite staff lovely and friendly brought straight over to a seat. Not a long wait for the food which was lovely. Need to up there advertising around the town because its a place not to be missed for a quick bite

10/05/2025: Absolute gem in the heart of Foxford. Really friendly cafe run by a fabulous hardworking couple, Lee Anne & Peter. They always remember our order and greet us with a smile and a chat. There's so many positives I could list for this cafe but to name just a few ... Dog Friendly Artwork - The Old Salt have very generously offered their wall space free of charge supporting local artists. Local business - They also support small local businesses by offering their shelf space and through recommendations. Great coffee and a nice selection of cakes and treats with some ice cold options during good weather. Community hub - guaranteed to meet some interesting locals and tourists alike. Perfect place to put you in a good mood. Lee Anne & Peter we are so lucky to have you. Keep doing what you're doing.

23/06/2025: Magnificent! After several disappointments at restaurants we knew in the region, where the damned burger is slowly gaining ground, finally an exceptional place, I mean EXCEPTIONAL!!! Very high-quality products, refined cuisine, elegantly garnished plates with a perfect blend of flavors, worthy of a very good Michelin-starred restaurant in our region. For starters, a swordfish carpaccio with pickled salsify, sesame seeds, and orange juice: a delight. Next, we had cod and sea bream, both extremely fresh and perfectly cooked, and especially very well accompanied by vegetables, seeds, flowers, trout roe... Also worth mentioning is a remarkable white wine from Etna: Alta Mora. More than reasonable prices for a wonderful dinner. The service was attentive and perfect. A big thank you to the chef: we will be back as soon as possible!

08/06/2025: Had an absolutely scrumptious meal here last night. It started with not one, but two complimentary starters. First was dates wrapped in ham and the 2nd was salmon cream cheese with cracker dippers. The service was great and the staff really friendly and attentive. The Chef Thomas and Manager Ann were on hand to answer any questions and ensure all guests were having an enjoyable dining experience. Fabulous menu and we will definitely be back.

25/05/2025: Incredible restaurant Very welcoming staff A truly wonderful surprise during our road trip in Ireland. The French Michelin-starred chef comes to see you in the dining room and chats with you. Excellent ingredients for excellent dishes.

12/06/2025: Was recommended here and I was delighted it was. The food is simply outstanding, different from the normal places I visit but it's so well worth a visit. Portions are big and there is a range from non spicy to very spicy but overall it's great food. When we were there it was busy and the staff were under pressure but handled it very well and they were all efficient and nice even under pressure. Restaurant is lovely but for people that struggle with steps there is a lot of steps to go up to the restaurant. Highly recommend
