03/08/2026: An amazing pub, such a great atmosphere. Loved it

15/07/2026: Passed this place when we were heading to our hotel for a break before dinner. From the outside it didn't seem that cosy, but the reviews were incredibly good so we wanted to give it a try. Glad we did. At first it felt a bit intimidating to go in because it seemed like there were a lot of locals as well and we felt like intruders, but the owner/bartender came by our table for a quick chat, which made us feel right at home. The same bartender played some songs on the guitar as well, which was a nice surprise. Strong recommend!

26/08/2026: Visited here multiple times during our stay in Westport. Everything we tried on the menu was excellent, the beer was cold, good service. Steady busy but not packed and we never had issues getting a table. Will definitely go back when in the area.

31/07/2026: There were five of us, one of whom wanted to eat vegan. We received a warm welcome, wonderful service, and enjoyed excellent food and exceptionally good wine. The vegan option was equally delicious and very creative overall. Highly recommended! 👌🏾🍀💖😍

17/08/2026: Have eaten here a few times - food is nothing special - last time we ate there - ordered the BLT - which contained less than half a rasher in the entire sandwich. Not impressed

13/08/2026: Brilliant spot with wonderful staff they did not take card the night I was there but the bank machine was a 2 minute walk away. It was absolutely packed the night I was there on the mayo all Ireland win. But despite the pressure and sheer number of people demanding their attention for a drink all the staff were so polite and efficient.

02/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The lamb chop was excellent, very fresh, and the chef does remarkable work with great delicacy. The establishment is perfectly run, the service is attentive, and you can feel a true attention to detail.

22/07/2026: Incredible to find a French restaurant here. A €75 set menu with dishes that were all equally delicious and inventive. Flavorful cuisine with very generous portions. The chef and his team were incredibly attentive. Thank you for a wonderful evening and your generosity.

29/07/2026: Our visit to the farm was fantastic. Really enjoyed seeing how the border collie wrangled the sheep. But the highlight was definitely meeting the people - such authentic, humble and just friendly folks!

07/06/2026: We ordered today the prawn salad and one of the daily’s specials. It was delicious. The service was great (Raphael the head of the waitress recommended us those two dishes). Really great, obliging and friendly service! We can definitely recommend it!! The surrounding was nice and not too loud. Great work gluten-free options (at least 70% of the menu) as well.

15/08/2026: We poped in here after a family mass there 10 of us , the restaurant was busy but the staff had it in hand . Food was top class i had a fry up . The guinness bread is so good , its a must to try it

18/07/2026: We tried the creamy pasta with added chicken and the chicken with potatoes. The pasta was ok, but the chicken was very bland and lacked seasoning. The chicken with potatoes was okay, just nothing particularly memorable. The service was friendly, but the restrooms could definitely use more attention. Overall, an average meal with room for improvement.

18/07/2026: Attended the Wyatt's restaurant with a group of 15 people. First off, waiting staff were exceptional. All three of our servers were highly professional, friendly and very attentive. I was highly impressed with the attention they provided us during our meal and I would give these staff members 5 stars. Sadly their exceptional service was overshadowed heavily by the very poor food experience. Not one of our party was impressed with the food provided. Our food was poorly presented on the plate, many dishes were overcooked or seemed to be reheated - double cooked chips, burgers dried out from being left under hot racks, etc. Salad items were soft/whilting, chowder with aniseed was revolting and was light on any presence of fish. The Dahl was Dolmio sauce with some lentils mixed in. The crown jewel, however, was the roast chicken dish, like bone-ridden roadkill scrapped off the road, cooked at 400 degrees and served with a watery sauce to take the bad look off it. Food overall was very bland, lacking flavour, poorly presented and was highly disappointing for a professionally cooked meal.

26/06/2026: Came here through a tour group, we had dinner here but many who had the sea food chowder got severe food poisoning, probably a bad batch. When we brought it up to the hotel manager they said they wouldn't admit to food poisoning until we got tested for norovirus at a hospital. I don't trust this hotel with so little integrity. It's unfortunate because the town is wonderful, sadly many of us couldn't experience it.
