17/04/2025: We stopped off here on the way to Westport. Delicious Irish food, everything was very tasty and it had a nice atmosphere. It was very dark but had nice Easter decorations. Would definitely recommend!

23/05/2025: With the Group of twenty seven guests we enjoyed our stay very much. The location at the local marketplace and within walking distance to beautiful shops pubs and restaurants is excellent.
The interior is very stylish in an old-fashioned style, totally fitting environment.
19/05/2025: We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Wyatt Hotel. It's located right in the center of town so you can walk to everything. Westport is a charming town with many beautiful boutiques. We ate dinner one night at the hotel and the food was fabulous, the breakfast was really good too. We highly recommend this hotel.

The terrine was fab. Soup excellent (matched my mothers). Seafood platter superb. Cheeses - really well presented. Wines - I guess they are not from around here!
Love the idea that the veg is grown in the adjacent garden and to the chefs spec. Also really liked the way they are training up a young team from the village to do things just their own way.
We will be travelling from Westport to this spot for sure.

22/03/2025: It's been a while since we ate at The Poacher. It's still brilliant. Lovely, thoughtful food, great flavours and textures all beautifully presented on the plate. The front of house team were welcoming and super efficient. A true gem in this part Ireland. It was very busy.... which says it all. Highly recommended.

23/04/2025: The sushi is actually incredible. So nice to have such a high standard Korean restaurant in Mayo. We drive from Westport and its so worth it. Great Kimchi also.
17/04/2025: I had bad stomach after the food from here, I had the bibimbap. If you need to clean your belly this is the place I have nothing left in me. The waitress was professional and kind.

26/04/2025: Popped into this place after an evening on Keem beach. We were met with great atmosphere, welcoming staff including the owner and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! It is worth a stop to get a snapshot into a classic Irish pub, they don't make them like this anymore!
