07/01/2026: Service, is great. Products some great some I would like to be more authentic local made and jaut a ltle bit less costly. Maybe its just me. But at the same time place is look after clean well preseted. Coffey great food some desert great some other don't leave you hungry but can be improved

On explaining my circumstances he and several customers provided me with information regarding relatives past and present. The Guiness was perfect. Can't wait to return.

26/04/2026: Absolutely incredible dining experience at Il Vulcano! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The mussels were hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and served in the most delicious, flavorful broth that I honestly could have eaten on its own with a spoon. Just outstanding. Then came the lasagna… wow. I was completely blown away. Rich, comforting, and layered with so much flavor — easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted. To top it all off, the service was truly impressive. Attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel special from start to finish. 31/03/2026: The Creel in Westport what a spot! I had the katsu curry and it was excellent, perfectly crisp with a light, flavourful sauce that really brought it together. Service was genuinely warm and easygoing, you feel looked after without it ever being over the top. Sitting there with the view out the window just made the whole thing even better. I’ll definitely be back.

06/04/2026: Beautiful little cafe with freshly made food and deserts. We were serviced immediately by the friendly staff, and thoroughly enjoyed our pit stop on our way back from Achill Island. Recommend the drop in!

19/04/2026: Well I was most surprised! To find this level of dedication, cooking & showmanship in a remote Irish location was worth every Euro spent! I was only disappointed that I couldn't try any of the wines that accomponied the amazing cuisine as I was driving. Next time I'll invite friends and make one of them drive ;)

02/04/2026: If you love fine food then a visit to Le petit Vatel is a must. This is my fourth visit and the whole experience just keeps improving. My scallop starter and halibut mains were exquisite. The beautiful table settings are comlimentary to the dishes that Chef Thomas creates. If you haven't visited, then I suggest you do. You won't be dissapointed🥰

23/08/2025: Mellett's Emporium is a truely wonderful place, great atmosphere & friendly staff. You really could spend hours wandering around the entire bar!

05/05/2026: To three restaurants in the county for sure. Always good for a special meal, but I'd recommend dropping in for a small bite or one of the specials on midweek. We often order all the starters to share and it's a real flavour journey. The wine is fantastic too!

27/03/2026: We went to the Gateway today for a family birthday. The sevice was slow but food was reasonable even though vegetables arrived when meal was nearly eaten. The main problem was with the service and attitude of staff. We asked for a jug of water before meal and asked two different girls on four different occasions without water arriving. When it did arrive the jug and glasses were slammed on table. We will not be back
