customers provided me with information regarding relatives past and present.
The Guiness was perfect. Can't wait to return.

But at the same time place is look after clean well preseted. Coffey great food some desert great some other don't leave you hungry but can be improved

03/10/2025: My mum and I had one of the best meals we've ever had here this past summer and I am praying they have it on the menu next summer (hence the review) It was one of the specials - Seafood pasta. The sauce was perfect with it and the garlic bread really added to the flavour - still dreaming about it now! Please make permanently on the menu next year, we'll come every week!

28/10/2025: A great range of 'hot' barrista coffees and snacks. The Clonakilty sausage rolls which are made with black pudding are very indulgent and definitely worth a try.
Always a friendly service with adequate parking & amenities..!!! ❤👍

10/02/2026: We had a wonderful meal here tonight, with 3 adults, 2 children calling in on the late side. Extremely welcoming service despite coming in toward the end of service (and with two small kids to boot). They got our kids served quickly with some of the best pesto pasta we’ve had! And for the adults, really lovely wine and incredible mains! We were delighted with the sole-wrapped prawns, the zucchini & prawn ravioli, and the pork special. Highly recommend this spot for Italian food in Westport!

27/10/2025: 11/6/25: Great cafe and very welcoming and friendly staff too and where dogs are allowed at the rear under a sheltered roofed area; there are a few other large tables in the yard but these are not protected from the weather.

05/03/2026: A friend and I came for brunch after a lovely long walk up to Roman island beach. Hunger truly is the best sauce. The food was beautiful. They have a gluten free menu and can cater for coeliacs. As a former barista I can say that the coffee was absolutely wonderful. All in all, a simply delightful and delectable experience.

19/02/2026: We had a fabulous time at the Lough Inn. We tried the tasting menu and every course was generous and delicious. Our anticipation before each course was met with pure satisfaction and Thomas and Ann were lovely hosts. Thomas provides a real culinary experience which I would highly recommend.
18/02/2026: Had such a lovely evening here. We went for the six-course tasting menu and honestly, every single dish was gorgeous — full of flavour and beautifully done. The French-style food was amazing from start to finish.
The service was really friendly and made us feel so welcome. We also had a beautiful wine which topped it all off.
Just a really nice, relaxed night with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.
