22/05/2025: Had a delicious meal in Pure magic tonight. Pizza was perfect snd tiger prawn tacos tasty and fresh. Good beer and wine list too.

17/07/2025: I’d pick there beef ciabatta as my last meal on this earth. It was filled with flavour and the chips were epic. Everyone enjoyed their meal here and the girl serving us was a delight. Being irish myself I don’t get caught up in the traditional irish pub style much but this was so cosy and full of charm that it won me over

02/07/2025: This was such a lovely find on a wet summer's day. We were tired after exploring beautiful Ballina and went in for some soup and bread. Great soup and excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

28/06/2025: Proper local bar, the sort of place that died out in the UK in the 1980s. The din from endless conversations was like an old friend, the Guinness was superb, the service and the locals were friendly and welcoming. Go there, go there now 🇮🇪

08/07/2024: Was brought to Susie’s Bistro in Tubbercurry Golf Course for a Sunday luncheon with a friend, and from start to finish, you couldn’t find fault with the service or the food. Would definitely recommend Susie’s Bistro for any occasion as it’s 5 star service. The roast beef is simply delicious 😋

16/06/2025: Excellent hotel and spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable.A very nice bar area and a lovely restaurant but I thought the food let it down a bit.Its advertised outside as fine dining but I think it fell short of that The roast lamb was overdone but was still nice and the fish I had the following night was far to greasy.The buffet breakfast was very good with a good choice on offer.Id definitely stay here again and I need to mention the staff who were all amazing especially the ones at reception plus there's a very good multi story car park at the hotel also

08/06/2025: Fabulous meal. When I booked I never thought about specifying a low table for my 89 year-old dad and after some quick table rearranging, the floor manager got us properly settled. Booking lesson learned! Excellent choice for us all including a vegan and vegetarian. Observant but not intrusive wait staff and a very good non alcoholic drinks option. Fully recommend.

14/06/2025: Visit here regularly and it's always excellent. Staff are always efficient and helpful. It's very busy place so you may have to wait for a table or share one Highly recommend

02/06/2025: My husband and I went in on Saturday for dinner, it was so good that we returned for dinner again on Sunday. We were in Mayo only for the weekend. 100% Very highly recommend

20/02/2025: went in on my own for lunch. Place was not busy. They had a great selection of specials written up on the blackboard. The meal was nice 3 potatoes(mash, fries, roast), 3 veg and nice chicken(southern fried) Place was clean service prompt and pleasant. I could have left about 25% on the plate but didn't. Maybe portions depend on how busy they are? Only negative was they had dial Eireann on the TV at the counter. Anyway a positive experience and I left thinking I need to leave a good review.

09/07/2025: We had a fantastic three days stay in the hotel lovely food friendly staff and very helpful. We recommend staying at the gateway hotel.

06/07/2025: The staff here really are exceptional. A cold & hungry group of us stopped here on a very very wet Friday morning just after breakfast had finished & nearly an hour before lunch started. !!. We would have settled for a hot coffee but the staff had better idea's - would we like fresh scones - most certainly we would !!. out came huge hot scones as if straight from the oven, with butters, jams, etc., offers of home made bread, sandwiches, toast & best of all a plate of scrumptious hot sausages !!. Once lunch started the restaurant was very busy but we, in a corner of the bar weren't forgotten - tea & coffee refilled promptly & always with a smile & reassurance we weren't outstaying our welcome - old ladies do like to chat !!. Irish hospitality at its best. Thank You Gateway Swinford, we will be back.!!

11/06/2025: It says open but shut down, someone needs to update the website as very disappointing to drive here only to find it’s not open

10/06/2025: We had no expectations because it was late and we were hungry. Boy were we happy to have happened upon this place. Food was incredible, staff were friendly, the whole experience was delightful.

26/06/2025: Just had one of the amazing wood fire pizza, fast service and the tastiest food!

24/05/2025: A must stop if in Mayo. Stopped here yesterday after our trip up from Kilkenny. One of the best pizza's I've ever had .
