11/05/2025: Located in the quay of Westport. We stopped in for a light lunch. We had a dozen oysters we shared, they were terrific and so fresh. I had the best ever seafood Chowder and the Guinness was delicious. We will be back!

This place is a mix of Russian kitsch and American diner.
Hardly any locals in the restaurant. Mainly tourists and Americans celebrating loudly.
The food was nothing special.
Partially overcooked pasta and/or dry steaks. The chicken wings and the Guinness were okay.
It's a shame it could have been better, the service was very good.

08/07/2024: Was brought to Susie’s Bistro in Tubbercurry Golf Course for a Sunday luncheon with a friend, and from start to finish, you couldn’t find fault with the service or the food.
Would definitely recommend Susie’s Bistro for any occasion as it’s 5 star service.
The roast beef is simply delicious 😋

20/05/2025: Had a pleasant recent stay for a work trip. Room was clean, unfortunately too warm as it was during the nice weather and as this is Ireland, no AC so the room was so hot during the night. I had dinner and lunch in the Siar Restaurant. Chicken supreme for dinner was delicious, lunch was not as enjoyable as the curry wrap was a bit dry. Breakfast is your typical Irish hotel breakfast which is disappointing. Lisa at reception was so friendly and helpful.
18/05/2025: Dreamy lobby, nice rooms. After a full day of exploring the area, we had to eat dinner at McDonald's across the street because the restaurants all close at 8:30, lol! Not just here, but across Ireland. Live music in the lobby was great!

16/12/2024: Nice, reasonably priced hotpot (both the veggie and the regular one), lovely cakes and treats, and friendly staff. What more do you want? Recommended.
22/11/2024: I really want to keep this under the radar. So it's fantastic coffee and treats are not for you. The friendly helpful staff are just too nice. And don't have their sausages rolls. Otherwise, there won't be any for me. So just don't go there back up and try the circle k up the road.

25/03/2025: Such a fab place. Was apart of a hen group , couldn't have done enough for us. Service was wonderful and we had to stop again on the way home the next day just because of how we treated . 11/10 ..

15/04/2025: Visiting family in Swinford last week, we dropped in here for dinner. Amazing find ! Service from Helen and team, friendly, prompt . Food great , wonderful variety from bacon and cabbage, to Asian specialities. Reasonably priced.Ho Cosy and homely and low key- seating plan makes it easy to start chats with other diners.
Also, a confirming Lettuce Eat as a firm local favourite was the influx of young lads for their post training feed of chips etc.
Go neirigh on bothar libh. !

20/02/2025: went in on my own for lunch. Place was not busy. They had a great selection of specials written up on the blackboard. The meal was nice 3 potatoes(mash, fries, roast), 3 veg and nice chicken(southern fried) Place was clean service prompt and pleasant. I could have left about 25% on the plate but didn't. Maybe portions depend on how busy they are? Only negative was they had dial Eireann on the TV at the counter. Anyway a positive experience and I left thinking I need to leave a good review.
09/02/2025: I mean, food is what it needs. Very good. I highly recommend anyone to try. 😊
