28/08/2025: Disclaimer: I did not receive any kickback for this review. Delicious food & Speedy, kind service! The manager, possible owner was incredible. He got us seated and grabbed a high chair for our daughter. Our little one was getting Hangry and he constantly took time to smile, say hi, or quickly play with her to keep her happy. The food and coffee were delicious! It was the perfect lunch on our way through town. 10/10

04/06/2025: I went to Oxtsil on Friday with my friend her daughter and my daughters. We had such a great night full of laughter and fantastic food. I can only say it's one of our absolute favourite restaurants to go to. The food is absolutely amazing, all seasonal. I don't know how they do it but each dish busts with flavour, they're is an explosion of flavour on each bite. I ate gambas prawns, for starter, pork belly with prawns for mains. We shared 3deserts between us, malt and Hazelnut cheesecake, salted Carmel with a homemade biscuit and a chocolate moose with brownie and honeycomb 😋😋😋😋😋 amazing! My friend and her daughter live in NY and we book oxtail evertime she comes home, that's testament in itself. Well done, keep up the good work. Can't wait to go back in July

01/04/2025: Delicious lunch - I had the BLT sandwich with some tea. The menu has a lot of sandwich style options. Comfortable seating. Excellent music playlist. Friendly staff.

20/07/2025: Delicious, beautifully prepared, locally sourced food with French flair. Savoir Fare is exceptional and not to be missed, a real treat. Alain and his team are lovely hosts with a really deep knowledge of food that shines through in the scrumptious food served up.

17/08/2025: They stuck us in a side room which was like a bare bones coffee shop instead of the main area. The burger was well done although I didn’t ask for well done - I had to cut it into tiny pieces to eat it all. Not a great experience.

Pádraic is the best host I’ve ever met, genuinely friendly and welcoming, sorry we could only stay for a couple of drinks but will make sure the n xx time I’m here we’ll stay for the music! There were a few young lads out back with a guitar and singing, proper Irish pub. Go raibh maith agat a Phaidraic as an fáilteachas, beidh mé ar ais cinnte!!!

24/08/2025: The food on our evening visit was great but we didn't have such a positive visit for brunch. The morning menu was overpriced and the food was below standard. However the evening food was excellent and the service was very good.

23/08/2025: Went there today as have kept saying for a long time we must go, so when we saw it was taking part in Birmingham Restaurant Festival thought it would be a great opportunity to try it and wasn't disappointed! £28 for 2 courses brilliant value, we both had prawns to start which were delicious then I had chicken souvlaki and husband had steak. We have decided to try the regular menu next time we go in November(already booked!) Amazing food and lovely staff, looking forward to our next visit.

08/09/2025: The restaurant on the first floor looks rather odd from the street. The Portuguese chef conjures up exquisite menus. Service is very attentive.

31/05/2025: Have gotten take away from here a few times and it’s always really good. Meat is great quality and sauces home made and so good. Would definitely recommend. This is the best quality food for miles around
