12/11/2024: We stay here every year for the sea to summit event. The town centre location is great.The place is clean, comfortable, and well run . The food and bar are excellent and they do a great breakfast .
The best part about Clew Bay Hotel is the friendly and attentive staff.
14/10/2024: Lovely hotel , right in the center of Westport. Rooms were big, spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything you wanted for breakfast and finally, really lovely staff. Would definitely come back, thank you.

17/08/2024: Great pub and really good selection of beers and pub snacks at reasonable prices. Bar snacks are mainly panninis, baguettes and sandwiches but the put plenty of filling in them so they will cure your hunger nut leave enough room for beer!

26/09/2024: We live locally and have eaten here several times and recommend it to our friends. Dinner last night was delicious as always and accommodations made for our dietary requirements so that we were able to relax and enjoy a really lovely meal. Service, as always, was outstanding
25/09/2024: We stayed at the Ballina Manor and it’s a beautiful walk to the spa. The baths we fantastic and the relaxation room was wonderful as well. The restaurant offered a “new” kind of seafood chowder including muscles that were insanely good. The showers have great water pressure and excellent products!

08/10/2024: What a delightful tearoom in Westport. Really enjoyed our soup and soda bread, followed by tea and cake. All wonderfully fresh. The staff were so friendly and can't wait to return in December. The autumn decor is so lovely and can't wait to see the Christmas decor

01/11/2024: First timers and holiday makers here. My mum, two children under the age of 6 and I had a bite to eat here. Staff were friendly and kid friendly. My mum chose the Soup of the day which was vegetable at €6.50. The children shared a toasted ham and cheese sandwich €7 (served with complimentary raisins: a nice touch) and I savoured a creamy fishy chowder at €8.95. The cakes, especially the coffee cake, looked tempting but we resisted on this occasion. Lovely feel to the place and nicely decorated for the season of Halloween. You can buy bits and bobs here also eg soap, Turkish delight, rock etc. Parking across the road. Recommended if you are in the area.

10/11/2024: Nice looking pub, food looked good. We went especially to get a pint of Forged Irish stout by Conor McGregor. Unfortunately, the stout was put into a Guinness glass because "they were put away somewhere" and the glass was overflowed and messy when poured. Have to say it was a disappointing experience for my friend's who were visiting me and went there especially to have the stout.

25/10/2024: Definitely the best fish in town! My family and I each ordered the fish and chips meal and to say we were amazed would be an understatement! The fish was so fresh it literally melted in your mouth, the batter was perfect too , not too thin , not too thick just right and not oily at all! Even the size of the fish was fantastic! I’d definitely recommend Danolla’s to anyone looking for the best fish in town! (We actually came all the way from Foxford to get their fish!) Staff were an absolute pleasure too! We will definitely be coming back !

18/08/2024: We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant which was full of locals enjoying a good night out. The beef and salmon main courses were excellent and we had an unusual but absolutely delicious fruit custard dessert.
