22/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic experience at Lettuce Eat in Swinford. They are incredibly accommodating when it comes to allergies and food intolerances, taking the time to listen carefully and make sure everything is suitable. It is genuinely the place to eat when you have dietary restrictions and still want to feel confident and included. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and clearly prepared with great care. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout. It is rare to find somewhere that combines such excellent allergy awareness with food that looks and tastes amazing. Highly recommended — we will definitely be returning!

This absolute gem of a takeaway delivers top-tier food, vibrant flavors, and exceptional service that puts the rest to shame! Every single dish is freshly cooked and packed with high-quality ingredients. They offer a fantastic variety of delicious options that cater perfectly to all food allergies and intolerances! You can pop into Mellets a few doors up for a pint and your food will be ready! Beyond impressed - would give more than 5 stars if I could!

02/08/2026: Great spot at the foot of Croagh Patrick, pints were good. Great atmosphere on a Saturday evening of August bank Holiday weekend. I suppose Mayo winning Sam helped but as a Kerryman it was great to hear the banter.

03/07/2026: We were passing through Newport earlier today & stopped for food in lovely cafe. Thr chowder was divine, accompanied by some homemade brown bread I also had a "black goat"? Black pudding topped with goats cheese. The pudding is sold in the butchers of the same name next doo. We purchased locally homemade sausages & puddings from the butchers also

20/07/2026: This was our favorite pizza place in Ballina. The restaurant was always spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and had a great eye for detail. Every ingredient was placed so beautifully on the pizza. Everything was delicious, and we always enjoyed coming back

13/07/2026: Lovely eclectic little bar in Swinford. We dropped in for a pint while waiting for a Chinese takeaway and were very impressed by how friendly the staff were and the range of beers and cider. They even had Guinness 0.0 and Heineken 0.0 on proper draught pumps! And still only €5 a pint. Will definitely be returning!

08/11/2025: Wow! An amazing hotel and 10/10 hospitality from the staff. Traveling with a baby can be nerve wracking but the staff at the hotel did everything to make our stay comfortable and kid friendly. Will definitely be back.

06/11/2025: One star off for instant coffee sachets in the room and a tin pot of coffee at breakfast I.e no decent coffee to be had. Otherwise decent hotel.

19/05/2026: While looking for dinner (it was already very late that evening), we stopped by the hotel. Even though the kitchen was already closed, they made us two delicious sandwiches. We had some top-notch Guinness to go with them. The bartender was very friendly!

26/08/2026: A regular Supermacs. Bright & airy with plenty of parking & seating. Staff members were helpful. My only issue is that the toilet bowls are designed for children or dwarfs. They are way too low for the average adult, especially if you have any sort of stiffness. The result is cubicles with lumps of discarded toilet paper.

22/08/2026: What a beautiful little spot stopped on the way to knock got a fab breakfast staff were so nice and friendly was going to stop for dinner on way back but we weren't hungry enough unfortunately ...
