15/10/2024: Awesome experience! The farm is very well run. The public experience was on point on all levels including the sheep herding demo, lunch and entertainment. The drive is beautiful and the destination was worth the drive.

10/10/2024: I loved my entire trip to Ireland but this may have been the best part. We had a sheepherding demonstration and a delicious meal with music. Run by a lovely family. Go! You won't be disappointed. ❤️

18/08/2024: We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant which was full of locals enjoying a good night out. The beef and salmon main courses were excellent and we had an unusual but absolutely delicious fruit custard dessert.

09/02/2025: Decent and solid wholesome food from this great little Cafe. The cafe has been posthumously named after Tara. If the food is anything to judge by, I would be honoured. The cafe is really busy, so best to come early. And the staff is very friendly and obliging. We tried the smashed avo on toast and the egg and chips. Both really delicious while one more complex than the other. The smashed avo was toast, crispy bacon, spinach and avo with a poached egg, and topped with hollandaise sauce. A fantastic combination and very tasty, with the only small quibble was the hollandaise sauce being the quick cream version, not tangy at all. But I still loved it when on the plate all together. The egg and chips was a no frills, but still tasty meal. The cafe has to deal with small floor space, so seating can be cramped. Also the back of the chairs are a little disconcerting. As they creak if you lean into them and feel like they will break if you put too much weight on them. But this cafe has a cosy friendly feel to it, which is rare to find. I think the staff vibes have transferred into the patrons. This is a great place to eat in a cafe that offers simple and not so simple dishes, but good honest food all around. The dishes have had some though put into them, and you can see they have elevated to make them more appealing / appetising. One such is the max million shortbread offered with the coffee. Sweet and delicious and exceedingly rich. The little touches will make this place a firm contender in the area.

15/03/2025: avoid like the plague looks great on the outside and on the inside but that's just for the tourists got mushrooms to start I found them absolutely undercooked but others at the table found them OK got a chicken curry half rice and chips both of us and the chicken was pink raw and undercooked so put it to the chicken to the side from both plates with the raw showing on 2 separate side plate waitress can over to pick up the plates saw the chicken and just took them away and then to be charged full price without even a manager to atleast say sorry for the raw and undercooked chicken all in all 15.50 for a 3 in 1 that you could get in any Chinese take away for less than half the price

15/03/2025: 10/10. The food was amazing. We usually struggle finding really good food in small towns, and this restaurant did dissapoint. The food is really really good and the servers also very nice and atentive. Would recomend 100%. Ask for the crispy mushrooms, fried chicken, and the soup of the day!! 10/10.

10/02/2025: Myself and a few others had breakfast here this morning.. Food was ok, but the service wasnt fantastic. Took ages to get milk and a few sachets of sugar (to be thrown down) for tea and coffees.. and then there was a lady with blonde hair with a fringe and glasses behind the bar was quite snappy with us when we were paying. Personally staff arent very nice, and go else where in future. But to the red haired girl, absolutely lovely that took our order. Bit of customer service training wouldn't go astray lads!

28/01/2025: A great place to stay. Huge, very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Nice touches in the room. An impressively concise pre arrival text with parking and door code details. Lovely breakfast.
