09/05/2026: The service was exquisite. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and when we arrived, there was hardly anyone there. I went based on Google Maps recommendations, and I was right. After a while, the restaurant filled up completely, so I recommend booking a table on Saturday. The duck rolls were spectacular. I didn't like the prawn empanadas as much; they were too oily and didn't have much prawn flavor. The noodles were very good. I preferred the thin ones, which I don't know the name of—nuggets or something like that. They have Ramón Bilbao by the glass, which I really appreciate; it's a wine you can't go wrong with. The bottle costs 30 euros, but you can order it by the glass. The dessert was quite good: coconut cake with ice cream. You can choose the flavor. It wasn't spectacular, but it was tasty. I had a very pleasant dinner, much better than at the pub. The Irish are a bit odd.

15/06/2026: Highly recommend M.Flannerys. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Colm was wonderful. He recommended the curry and it was fantastic. Klaudia made a generous espresso martini and it was excellent. The atmosphere is warm and authentic to the longtime past of this historic pub and restaurant. Prices very reasonable. Don’t hesitate to try it for yourself.

24/06/2026: Scenery and course design is second to none we had the misfortune to play it when the greens were sanded and poleforked which made the greens slow and bobbly but other than that amazing

22/05/2026: Very pleasant experience last Sunday night in the Cliff House Hotel! The staff could not possibly be more accommodating. Really nice breakfast, especially the pancakes! They gave us loads of information on the local area also. Definitely recommend!

20/05/2026: We were recommended this place by our B&B hosts not far from here. We had a 45 Euro 2-course meal each. It was very good, and ingredients were presented carefully and tasted fantastic. Definitely made for a nice dinner after a day of driving.

05/05/2026: We stopped because we needed a quick meal. We were glad we did. As Americans visiting Ireland for the first time, we can honestly say these burgers and chips (fries) were some of best we've had.

26/09/2025: Sincere thanks to Staff for helping me when I missed a bus connection by a few seconds on Wednesday night last. I am an older person, using a walking stick, my phone was dead, and anyway I had no taxi numbers. It was late and it was dark. Staff were happy to call a taxi, they also offered the possibility of a lift as they had a delivery on my way home. I was delighted to accept a lift, I heard since that not all taxi's go out late.

05/07/2025: We were passing through Ballina. The kids wanted pizza and we chose Domino's. We waited 10 minutes and ate in the establishment. Neat and clean in the hall. The toilet is stellar. The pizza is very tasty! We will definitely come back to you again!

27/05/2026: It's got everything you need for a great time at a cracking pub: a great atmosphere, amazing memorabilia, fantastic and friendly staff, and great Guinness. And my 2nd cousin owns it. Just as well I live in Singapore as it would be my 2nd home if I was local.

28/06/2026: This was surprisingly excellent. I thought it was a chain because their logo and signage seemed professionally done, but it turns out it’s a single location and the gelato is fantastic.

08/11/2025: Wow! An amazing hotel and 10/10 hospitality from the staff. Traveling with a baby can be nerve wracking but the staff at the hotel did everything to make our stay comfortable and kid friendly. Will definitely be back.

06/11/2025: One star off for instant coffee sachets in the room and a tin pot of coffee at breakfast I.e no decent coffee to be had. Otherwise decent hotel.
