07/01/2025: Great country pub serving a lovely pint of Guinness. Bar staff are attentive, a lovely fire keeping the place warm and sporting events on the TV's. What more could a visitor from Australia ask for.

The food on night one 😋 👌 sea food platter out of this world. Fish and chips was so crispy and mouth watering bbq wings so tasty.. steak sandwich on piont.. desserts were yum. 2nd night thought it couldn't be topped from night one but boy was I wrong... sea food chowder best i ever had. Then had pasta with cream sauce and chorizo comes with prawns which I am not a fan of and they were so accommodating to let me have chicken instead of prawns. Just absolutely delicious. Food of beef roast, or honey garlic chicken and chicken dry something sorry can't remember that dish full name but were all outstanding and generous portions too. What can I say about the staff all servers were so polite and attentive on both evenings. I could not fault the service. 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend this spot and I most certainly will be back again. I would like to thank all staff chefs, barmen and servers for a truly wonderful 😊 experience 😀

06/02/2025: Good local store. Going there because of its convenient location. But prices on shelves are sometimes smaller than at the till. But one star I give because of rising prices after the recent storm Eowyn as they were the only open store in Ballinrobe. Paid €56 for two tins of azera coffee americano and decaf. Dozen eggs and milk. My granny told me never make many on somebody's suffering and stay away from people who do.

08/02/2025: I’ve been coming to the coffee shack daily for the last 6 months, Food is lovely, never anything wrong and the main thing THE STAFF ARE SO NICE, Oran has served me many of time , always greets me with a smile on his face. overall 10/10

26/02/2025: Very cramped seating. Food ok but nothing special. Staff helpful and good natured. In the past I had a cheese and ham toastie which was inedible. Toast not toasted, sliced processed cheese and ham tasteless. This time I had delicious homemade soup with brown bread.

31/01/2025: All the staff here are so nice and chatty my one gripe is I think the owner should now relocate to a bigger premise. As a few times I've walked past and it's busy and the tables need to be bigger. Which they can't be as the eating area would not be big enough should move to the shop that's closed across the road bigger floor layout

12/03/2025: We stayed at the resort for two nights. The room was large and spacious, extremely quiet with a very large bed and a Nespresso machine ❤️. The staff at the bar/restaurant were great and the kitchen was also a compliment, the food was excellent 🫶.

11/03/2025: Magical experience, with a wonderful and enchanting natural landscape. A rare corner of land overlooking the Atlantic coast. First-rate experience!

24/11/2024: Himalayan Lamb (recommended by staff) was outstanding…very “clean” lamb chucks cooked a red medium. Curry sauce tremendous. High praise for daal, chicken roganjosh, and garlic chili chicken. Exceptional friendly staff brought papadum while waiting. Visiting from U.S.A….Love Ballina.

01/11/2024: My sister and I visited this restaurant on Halloween night, based on a friend's recommendation. The food was delicious, the service was great. Prices were very reasonable. No taxis were available after our meal to take us back to our hotel, so, the restaurant owner arranged transport for us. We were very impressed and will return next time we are in Ballina.

16/03/2025: Brilliant location … rooms very quiet and comfortable .. breakfast was lovely only negative , breakfast plates not heated and food cooling as it arrived at table…. All in all a great stay and I will book to stay again …

05/02/2025: Gorgeous cosy hotel right in the centre of Westport Town. It has a real "family-feel" to it and that's a true reflection on the wonderful management and staff! We ate in the restaurant both evenings and food is top class! Will be back!
