21/08/2024: A really good place for a takeaway. I don't know why but there's rarely anybody sitting in the restaurant. It would be great to sit in with a big group of friends but as a couple you can be there on your own. That aside the food is really good. I recommend this place 100%. Never had a bad experience.

Cullen's at the Cottage
23/09/2024: Staying at the Ashford Castle, we were hoping for an amazing dinner at Cullen's, our first night on property. However, we were disappointed.
The interior is sparse at best and divided into two dining areas, neither of which are appealing. The menu mimics the space, nothing fun and creative, just typical Irish cuisine. Forget getting fish & chips, chicken or a decent steak here.
Best choice for dinner: Head over to Cong at enjoy an amazing meal at Pat Cohen's.

10/07/2024: Such a little gem of a cafe. Lovely to eat in or take out. The staff are so friendly and attentive (big shout out to Áine who always finds time for a hello). The scones are divine! They always have lovely specials available, their new granola offering is extremely delicious. Love the funny names for the sandwiches. I've had lots of them and have never been disappointed. Lovely facilities too, bathroom is always sparkling and spacious. Highly recommend visiting here if you're in Ballyhaunis, not to be missed.
