05/09/2026: This hotel is brilliant in every way ! Could not fault it and all the staff are so helpful and friendly . The restaurant is also amazing.

31/07/2026: Only just arrived, and already impressed. Will update when leaving, but attention to detail is really good. Even the bank of light switches are labelled, and unlimited filtered water. Very impressed

19/06/2026: Went for a falcon tour and it was absolutely amazing. Daniel was an exceptional guide and host.

10/06/2026: Met with Daniel and was given a little lesson on the birds of prey. We held a little falcon. And got up close to a big owl named gandolf, a snow owl named snowy, a barn owl named Ashley that had the softest feathers, and met our walking companion hunter the hawk. Daniel lead us on a small walk through the woods switching wearing the falconry glove as hunter swooped after us. Daniel was a wonderful, informative, and enthusiastic guide! Would definitely recommend this experience!!

02/06/2026: I found this place, after spending time at the hospital and having not been to Castlebar for a while, i was heading to the coffee bar next door. I saw Rua and was drawn to going inside. Rua is a lovely little deli, selling fresh bread, baked goods, sandwiches and deli boxes along with your normal deli pickles, sauces, wine, meats and cheese, coffee, tinned items etc. Really good selection. The coffee is great and you get a little piece of shortbread with it too, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff are friendly, they have a great choice at reasonable deli prices. I am a coffee fan and everytime I visit the area, I struggle to find somewhere who can make a decent cortado. This is the best I've found, in Mayo. The whole carrot cake looked delicious and will be next on my list to try as well as the mint straciatella ice-cream. It's weird that it's the small things that make difficult situations slightly more bearable. Many people don't know how they impact on someone's day. After a rough few days, Rua was a haven for me and just a simple well-made coffee and a piece of shortbread can make such a huge difference. Thank you for doing what you do.

06/07/2026: I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Delphy. This is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The surroundings are stunning, peaceful, and perfectly maintained, making it an ideal destination for families as well as couples looking to relax. There are so many fun and exciting activities for kids that they never had a dull moment. My children had an amazing time and were entertained throughout our stay, creating memories they will never forget. The food was simply outstanding. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and prepared to perfection. The taste, presentation, and quality were truly outclass and exceeded our expectations. Every dish reflected the care and attention of the chefs. What made our stay even more special was the exceptional hospitality. The entire staff was incredibly polite, friendly, caring, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their professionalism and genuine kindness made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. A special thanks to Mr. Noman, Wani, and Subhash. They are highly experienced professionals who looked after us so well throughout our stay. Their excellent service, attention to detail, and friendly attitude made a huge difference and ensured that we had a comfortable and memorable experience. A small improvement shop is out of stock need some lore stock in shop please I highly recommend Delphy to anyone looking for a perfect getaway with outstanding service, delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and unforgettable family-friendly experiences. We will definitely visit again!

27/09/2026: Live close by in Ballyhaunis but only tried tonight when family came to visit. Cannot believe I haven't tried this place before, it is the best take away around. My new go to place if I'm looking for a takeaway. All 3 of us loved our food and excellent, friendly service too. Will be back.

31/08/2026: Taj Mahal Kiltimagh provided catering for our party of 30 at the weekend. Food was perfect, all equipment provided and fantastic customer service. Would highly reccomend if you're having an event. All at a great price too!

06/06/2026: We spent the night in Castlebar for a concert (our first time here), we got lots of recommendations from locals to go to the Tara Cafe for brekky the next morning, so we did. We highly recommend this cafe for food. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. So worth the visit. And right beside Penny's... its a win, win ✨️
