01/12/2025: Great pub. Guiness 0.0 and great trad players.

13/08/2025: Didn’t eat here, but wouldn’t go back for drinks. Bartenders were not friendly at all and refused to make mixed drinks for Americans, but then made them for their friends who ordered right after. One acted as if he didn’t know what Tito’s vodka was. They had great live music and a lively crowd, but a very unwelcoming bunch. Americans should skip this spot and spend their money elsewhere. One of the few pubs the group had anything negative to say about.

09/01/2026: Great lunch spot, in and out The Mediterranean sandwich is delicious, and there’s barely any waiting at all. Coffee also always top quality!

12/12/2025: Old world Irish pub. Management and staff always up for a bit of fun. Owner constantly trying to accomadate everyone and groups including organising outside food for partys/Hen/Stags. Great spot for watching sports and again if multiple games on at same time staff will try and have it on one of the multiple tv's.

21/06/2025: Tesco is pretty big here, and they do have a cafe nearby. There is a lot of things to do around it shops wise including a lot of parking but couldn’t find a single bathroom!

06/11/2025: We had a very relaxed meal in Maddens. The food was very tasty and the staff very pleasant and professional. Will be back

22/08/2025: After a long day biking we wanted somewhere nice to rest up and eat. Walked by and on a whim went in, early for Ireland but best decision ever. Four great meals came out, well presented and delicious. Recommend the lamb rack, everything about it was just right. The staff were lovely as well, very good communication from them, keep it up.

13/12/2025: This place felt like home. Live music, great service, cold beer. Graham the bartender really made us feel welcome. This was our favorite pub on our entire roadtrip on the Wild Atlantic Way

13/03/2026: Had lunch with my parents today. The beef pho noodles were deli. The massaman chicken curry and the chili cashew beef were thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was spotless, very clean. Food arrived promptly and was very tasty and great value. Look forward to returning soon.

03/08/2025: Great spot for an excellent pint of Guinness. John at the bar both knowledgeable and friendly. A traditional Irish pub in a cosy friendly atmosphere. The real Ireland.

07/09/2025: A lovely restaurant with really great waitstaff! My friend said the bangers and mash was so good she could have it 3x over - highly recommended! The small steak was nice, a little sinew-y at first but the peppercorn sauce was delicious. Great portion sizes!

20/10/2025: We are locals. I wanted to bring our visitors from Madrid here for lunch on a rainy Saturday. They are foodies and I had explained that Savoir Fare is probably the best lunch spot in town and was recently recommended in The Irish Times. We arrived just before 12 noon and I was pleased to see empty tables because they don’t take reservations. I was told very bluntly “I cannot serve you”, because we were a group of 6. I asked if we could divide into 2 tables of 3 which were set for lunch and unoccupied. I was told “I will not split the group. I cannot serve you”. The way he said it was rude. The other diners were all watching. So we left. I stood outside on the pavement in the drizzle, super embarrassed in front of our visitors. Bruised, we walked up to The Clockhouse Cafe and after a short wait, we were seated. Not the same offering at all, but we were welcomed, and served with a smile.

23/07/2025: El mejor regalo que me he hecho fue una cena en solitario en George V. El equipo es acogedor y atractivo. Aprendí sobre vinos de Paul Fogerty, sumiller jefe. Recibí sugerencias encantadoras en el menú de Andrea, mi servidor. El ritmo era apropiado para saborear cada bocado de comida de la finca ricotta al inicio del suflé de frambuesa (vale la pena el tiempo para prepararlo) como el final de una comida maravillosa. IT fue una experiencia que realmente fue un punto culminante para mi estancia en The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

03/07/2025: Cenamos con otra pareja. La cena es un acontecimiento. El personal de servicio fue excepcional. La comida es artística, lo que significa que las porciones son únicas y pequeñas. Espere gastar mucho. También desayunamos en este restaurante que estaba bastante bien y las raciones eran mejores.
