12/03/2026: Decided to get a spice bag after a long days work. I must say I was not disappointed I will highly recommend this place. Yeah the the service was quick and friendly staff and the food is a lovely generous portion fresh chips fresh chicken everything was was really really great a no complaints here.

Went for a Sunday drive and stopped in here, lovely pub and as stated Michelle our server excellent but the food was a letdown. The beef was tough as was the pork and the veg tasted stale. 13/08/2025: Didn’t eat here, but wouldn’t go back for drinks. Bartenders were not friendly at all and refused to make mixed drinks for Americans, but then made them for their friends who ordered right after. One acted as if he didn’t know what Tito’s vodka was. They had great live music and a lively crowd, but a very unwelcoming bunch. Americans should skip this spot and spend their money elsewhere. One of the few pubs the group had anything negative to say about.

17/07/2025: I was in Westport for the Bluegrass festival and went here twice! Loved the atmosphere and the coffee and food were great! Definitely recommend

30/06/2026: I love how McDonald's hires a diverse range of folks, in all different age ranges. You can really feel the difference in it being a well rounded team. There's parking out front and back, and it's not far from the main street. Inside is kept cleans, staff are helpful, and interact kindly with both customers and their co-workers. Never any complaints with the food or timings. Drive through seems to move at a decent pace, from what I can tell. It's immediately adjacent to a petrol station and shop, which is handy.

19/06/2026: Went for a falcon tour and it was absolutely amazing. Daniel was an exceptional guide and host.

10/06/2026: Met with Daniel and was given a little lesson on the birds of prey. We held a little falcon. And got up close to a big owl named gandolf, a snow owl named snowy, a barn owl named Ashley that had the softest feathers, and met our walking companion hunter the hawk. Daniel lead us on a small walk through the woods switching wearing the falconry glove as hunter swooped after us. Daniel was a wonderful, informative, and enthusiastic guide! Would definitely recommend this experience!!

02/05/2026: Great Takeaway We got there Chicken Tikka Masala and Doner Kebab, and they were absolutely delicious! The price is spot on for the portion sizes, the food is prepared very quickly, and everything arrived fresh

10/04/2026: We visited here to see the Kaleb Cooper show (which was brilliant) and spent the night. We had dinner in the restaurant before the show, afew sips in the bar after and breakfast in the cafe in the morning. The staff where all so helpful and nice, food both times was so good, and the room where really nice and clean. Definitely booking again soon!

23/09/2025: This was the perfect place for this Philadelphian! While an old traditional Irish pub, the wall was lined with Philly team hats! Pat the owner/bartender was very pleasant and personable, as we're all the friendly people I encountered there. This is a quiet but friendly bar and was perfect for my travel companion (who grew up up the street) and myself to sit at a table for personal discussions or at the bar to meet new folks. Weather did not permit, but there was an outside beer garden too! While visiting one evening,the back room broke out in Irish singing.. loved it. They do not serve food.

01/04/2026: The reviewers are definitely right about this been one of the best chinese in Castlebar, we had spice bag, satay sauce and salt and chilli chicken balls. Everything was delicious and even the shredded chicken was so nice to eat

21/05/2026: The staff are amazing, very welcoming and can't do enough to make your stay a real joy, they even insist on making you tea and carrying it to the room for you. Like Arnie, we will be back!

08/04/2026: The location is excellent, right in the center of Foxford. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed, and a beautiful ensuite.
