11/01/2025: As a ten year ritual we always go there for Christmas eve. Always great food and lovely staff

24/11/2024: Always lives up to expectations for a great value. The staff and Joe himself are always great staff, welcoming, accommadating any needs, and then the food and drink here are better than anywhere else. Would always recommend to all.

10/11/2024: Decent station just a vending machine and toilets there, just be aware that bus eireann no longer collects from there even though online you can book a ticket from the train station but you need to go to Mill st that's the last stop for the buses it's about a 10minute casual walk from the train station

30/03/2025: First chipper visit since being diagnosed with coeliac disease.Very busy Saturday evening . Staff we're flat out seemed to work well together and were friendly.They have a separate gluten free menu with a good choice of meals.Ordered chicken burger chips and curry sauce. We were eating in. Not too long of a wait and the food was dropped down.My order was clearly marked GF.Good quality chicken burger and the bread bun wasn't too bad for gluten free. Decent portions and not too expensive. Toilets maybe need a bit of attention. Tables and cafe are clean and tidy enough. Wrote my review today so I could confidently say that the gluten free food I had seems to have been prepared safely. Would definitely try again as there aren't many chippers catering for people with coeliac disease.

19/01/2025: Very bad mix kebab,doner like boiled no taste,chicken ok but no garlic sauce,small and very little veg,goujons was cheapest like from Tesco and was burned to much. Waiting 25 minutes

30/08/2024: Tasty Box is hands down the best spot in Kiltimagh for a chicken kebab tray! The chicken is always so flavorful and cooked just right. Plus, they give you a generous portion, so you definitely get your money’s worth. What really makes Tasty Box awesome, though, is the customer service. The staff are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. Can’t recommend them enough!

29/03/2025: Such a nice place to get food in Castlebar! The service is very quick and they bring your starters and mains together which is actually nice. I ordered the satay chicken with noodles and the wontons which were both delish! The menu is reasonably priced and you can have complimentary, self-service, ice cream from their ice cream machine, either in a small cone or a tub. They do take reservations but most of the time you can walk-in and get a table, but depending on the situation I would ring ahead anyways to make sure.
