21/12/2025: I had a problem with my last order and I must have called back about 8 times and no o e picked up leaving my problem unresolved… poor customer service VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

09/12/2025: Its a Maccys, you get what you ask for. Today's was an eat in experience and food was hot. Extortionate prices in Euros!

18/01/2026: Great little pub..trad band playing away by the fire and noel behind the bar you wouldn't find a nicer man if you tried...love stopping in for a few pints..guiness is great

20/08/2025: Lovely atmosphere very nice bar men, lovely pint of guinness, lovely pints of carlsberg very nice malibu and diet coke and 7up. Only place to watch the United match in Keel lovely outdoor seating aswell and dogs could be outside too. Great to see some sheep running past us.

18/01/2026: This hotel has potential but not near a 4 star hotel. Lots of things to do outdoors but has no swimming pool which is shocking for an ‘activity’ promoted hotel. For the restaurant, there is no proper bar so be prepared to either eat or sit in your room or read a book. When we went there the restaurant/bar was completely empty and we wanted to sit by a window as we had a small baby. We were to told to move to another part of the empty restaurant (2 tables down). Fight your battles staff. Food was good though. And for the staff. I met 1 Irish person working in the entire hotel in 4 days. Shocking really for a hotel in Ireland. Location was visually beautiful. A bit out of the way though for any other food or drinks or to even get anywhere. Would recommend a different hotel.

14/10/2025: Amazing location. The adventure centre staff were incredible. Very friendly, informative and accomadating.

17/12/2025: Best curry in Castlebar in the most unlikely place. It is a humble premises with formica tables and minimum fuss. The lamb is tender and plentiful, they can really up the ante with spice levels and the naan breads are great. You can see the cooks do it all on front of you. Go for it. You won't be diappointed here.

17/09/2025: This place is very good for people who want to try asian food ( indian/pakistani) , food is really good and has good portions and the staff was really polite and friendly. Pizzas and fried chicken also available.

24/01/2026: Lovely menu and lovely fresh food ,great portions too and a lovely cosy fire 🔥 too.

30/12/2025: 30/12/25 €11 for a normal size CBLT sandwich that took 45mins to come and had no T in it and no Mayo on it. Side salad that came with it was couple rocket leaves, pinch of shredded carrots and red cabbage. Wasn't asked if wanted dessert or any extra coffees, asked to move to bar after we paid when we were stood saying our goodbyes because we were "standing in the middle of the floor in the way" (wasn't busy and no one was trying to get passed us.) there are more subtle ways to get people to move on if you want. Would have bought more food/dessert/coffees if it had been suggested to us. No oat milk options either.

03/01/2026: The food was very tasty, the spicy was really spicy and tasty. The staff also professionally handled a drunk, who, by her own admission, was the daughter of a local clothing store owner, who was behaving in an unclassifiable manner. (Money can't buy manners and etiquette) But the restaurant is a great place, worth trying. :)

30/12/2025: This is how an Indian restaurant should be! Food was excellent; service was deferent and prompt; atmosphere was cosy and welcoming; and all very reasonably priced for dining out. We especially appreciated the owner-manager coming over to check on us as we were finishing up. Professional touch that shows both care and class. We'll be back for sure!

01/11/2025: Got a delivery this evening from golden pond. The website was easy to use for ordering. It was delivered promptly. The food was absolutely delicious. Can't even pinprick anything it was absolutely gorgeous. We got way too much though so just be aware the portions are massive!! Thanks a million we'll definitely order again

10/01/2026: Oct 2025 We stayed at this hotel while holding a memorial for my beloved sister, and I truly cannot put into words how much comfort and kindness we received during such a painful time. The hotel’s central location was perfect, and the rooms were always warm, cozy, and immaculately clean—exactly what we needed. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with many delicious options offered daily, and the dining staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating to my food allergies, which meant so much to me. We have stayed here many times over the years and always loved it, but this visit was exceptional. The compassion shown to us will never be forgotten. The hotel manager, Edel, was professional, kind, and genuinely compassionate, going above and beyond to support us on short notice. Her leadership truly shows in her amazing staff—Chloe was wonderful,, kind and professional maureen the server had outstanding service accommodating all of us especially with food allergies This hotel will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made a very difficult time a little easier.

04/12/2025: Update 4 years ago i left review "best Chinese in town" well that change drastically. Food is terrible now i dont know what happen dry hot and spicy is not even close what it use to be. I was their comming back customer every weekend, but im not anymore

06/12/2025: Insomnia Coffee Company have the nicest staff in the Claremorris branch around, so friendly and professional and helpful on choice, great menu, insomnia it is great to have in Claremorris, way better than Costa Coffee!
