24/08/2025: I love Indian food so I tried this place whilst in Clairemorris and it was delicious, I ordered on the app for collection at 9.45 and it was on time when I arrived.

20/07/2025: The musicians on 19-20 July 2025 were superb. Very enjoyable music and singing. Would be back if it's just to hear them. I had the fish and chips and swapped chips for onion rings which took a star off. Fish was fresh and batter crispy.

12/06/2025: We had a lovely lunch today. Massive thanks to Mairead who was our server for all her recommendations, courtesy, and humour. It was a pleasure having her look after us. They have a very good lunch menu, with options for everyone, including a very good kids menu. We ended up going for a burger, the fish cakes, and the fish and chips - all amazing, but the fish and chips was the star of the show. Thanks so much Breaffy for a lovely time and look after Mairead - she is a treasure.

01/09/2025: Undoubtedly the worse chinese ive ever had. And our whole group felt the same - Crispy shredded beef was so soggy and the sauce felt like it was just poured on from the bottle. The Singapore noodles were wrong and actually chow mein and in a horrible peppery paste. It was alarming that an order for 6 people to taky away took 8 minutes 😑

We snagged a seat by the window and just soaked in that wild Atlantic beauty with a pint in hand. Now the staff? Top-notch. These folks know their stuff when it comes to the local area. Ask ‘em anything—from the history of the islands to the best hidden hikes—and they’ll give you the whole rundown with a smile and a story or two. Food? Lord have mercy. This ain’t your run-of-the-mill tourist trap grub. We’re talkin’ fresh, home-cooked meals that taste like your Irish granny finally gave up her secret recipes. Every bite was a hug from the kitchen. Don’t skip the Reuben—it’s a flavor-packed masterpiece. And speaking of Reubens—turns out Joey was right (and boy, he’ll remind ya). It did come from New York, not Chicago like I swore up and down. Guess I owe him a pint and a public apology. Here it is, buddy. You win this round. In short: stunning views, warm-hearted folks, food that hits you right in the soul. Don’t think twice. Go.

23/07/2025: El mejor regalo que me he hecho fue una cena en solitario en George V. El equipo es acogedor y atractivo. Aprendí sobre vinos de Paul Fogerty, sumiller jefe. Recibí sugerencias encantadoras en el menú de Andrea, mi servidor. El ritmo era apropiado para saborear cada bocado de comida de la finca ricotta al inicio del suflé de frambuesa (vale la pena el tiempo para prepararlo) como el final de una comida maravillosa. IT fue una experiencia que realmente fue un punto culminante para mi estancia en The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

03/07/2025: Cenamos con otra pareja. La cena es un acontecimiento. El personal de servicio fue excepcional. La comida es artística, lo que significa que las porciones son únicas y pequeñas. Espere gastar mucho. También desayunamos en este restaurante que estaba bastante bien y las raciones eran mejores.

07/09/2025: Went in for carvery today 2 adults and a baby .food was v v poor won't ever be going back first and last visit won't lie haven't felt great since and either has my partner.

24/08/2025: Rice rock hard and brought to attention. I was told it was good. Didn't lose any fillings so thats a bonus. Reheating rice and getting pieces that caught in the edge isn't experince to repeat nor reaction from staff when told

17/08/2025: Ate here this week for lunch. Seating is limited with mostly high stools, but the ambiance is nice. The food was fairly standard, staff were friendly and attentive. Maybe better as a take-out option than dining in.
