The best restaurants in Mayo

15/02/2026: Paid like €5 for a cookie that tasted like onions ☹️ everything else is fine

03/08/2026: Very nice owner and tasty food.

22/06/2026: Good location good food will come back again

23/06/2026: Old bar with good music in town and vibe is super

08/09/2026: Solid food. Always good portions, always hot. Good mix of menu items. Delivery drivers are always nice.

03/09/2026: Great experience here. Pizza tasty here. Service excellent

29/08/2026: Lovely spot for a Birthday dinner date.

21/08/2026: Food was good but not excellent. Service at lunchtime was good. Atmosphere lovely. Nice kids menu.

06/09/2026: Was there last night and had one of the worst experiences I have had at any Lana, order was wrong, 2 dishes that were supposed to be the same but somehow looked completely differient, I had asked for no veg in one dish and no prawns in the other, when they went to correct it came back like they just picked them out. When I complained politely they blamed the kitchen being busy, no excuse. When food was being delivered they just dropped it to random people at the table no asking who it was for. Will 100% never go back again.

29/08/2026: Me and my wife had dinner in Lana this evening, the food was nice and so was the service but we were ultimately let down by the music being played in the restaurant. The music was extremely loud and we practically had to shout at each other to be able to have a conversation during our meal.

04/06/2026: If I based review on Michelle our server 10 stars but basing it on food I can't. Went for a Sunday drive and stopped in here, lovely pub and as stated Michelle our server excellent but the food was a letdown. The beef was tough as was the pork and the veg tasted stale. Toilets definitely need a lot of attention. Basing on food 3 Basing on toilets 3 Basing on staff 5 Basing on cozy bar 5

22/05/2026: Lovely food as always and friendly owners and staff

21/07/2026: Very good good coffees and good price everything is nice friendly and quite place

10/06/2026: Really good HOT tasty coffee, warm fresh croissants and great service from Rebecca.Spacious parking, and customer toilets.

11/10/2026: Lovely food! Lovely service! And a Lovely atmosphere!

29/08/2026: Asked for a pint of cider Was given a pint of larger. Staff refused to correct it or refund it Ignorant staff upstairs but to be fair thr manager sorted me once I said it to him

23/09/2026: Honestly these 5 star reviews have to be made up. I haven't once eaten here were my order was right. They constantly get it wrong. It's not like I'm ordering a 4 course meal it's just a sandwich but amazingly it's wrong time and time again and the serving of cheese on my sandwiches always leaves me looking under the lettuce to see where it's been hidden.

17/06/2026: Phenomenal coffee and amazing staff, pure 5/5 ✨️

21/05/2026: The staff are amazing, very welcoming and can't do enough to make your stay a real joy, they even insist on making you tea and carrying it to the room for you. Like Arnie, we will be back!

08/04/2026: The location is excellent, right in the center of Foxford. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed, and a beautiful ensuite.

02/06/2026: Stopped in after our 2-Yr old got sick in the car on the way to Knock. Couldn’t have been a better experience all around! The car wash on site as well as the laundry facilities was amazing. Great selection of food and coffee. But above all the staff were absolutely fantastic! So helpful to us in a very stressful situation

28/05/2026: Closest petrol station to Knock airport to my knowledge. We stop here to fill up every time and also pick up some last minute bits.

28/07/2026: I ordered a Thai Style Chicken. I found the sauce was very thick and awful spicy. The chicken came battered and was extremely chewy. This is definitely the worst chinese I've ever had. I wouldn't even give it to the dog.

10/06/2026: The first time I ordered it, for some reason I didn't like it, the chicken was bland, and there was some kind of jelly in it, I don't know, maybe it's necessary, but I was expecting a slightly brighter taste.

01/06/2026: Food is absolutely delicious especially the chicken wrap. staff is very helpful the ladies are always happy to help 🥰🥰

05/05/2026: Food is really great value and delicious. Chips are sensational
