The Bowers Bar and Restaurant in Ballinrobe

If I based review on Michelle our server 10 stars but basing it on food I can't. Went for a Sunday drive and stopped in here, lovely pub and as stated Michelle our server excellent but the food was a letdown. The beef was tough as was the pork and the veg tasted stale. Popped in for a meal after work, beautiful surf and turf. Steak was perfect at medium rare, garlic prawns were just that, ouzing their flavour on to the steak and the most peppery pepper sauce. All an absolute joy. The staff are also a credit to making it an good experience

Quick service. Great breakfast comes with the stay. The room had all we needed-not fancy but comfortable.

Ribs were delicious and the staff were very nice! We will be back again.

Fabulous food, great sized portions. Unfortunately the service was lacking, ridiculously slow in pace. Lack of clearing tables... and the restaurant was quiet, so no excuse.
