11/10/2025: Got a take away here last night after a road trip, had to travel another 25mins after collecting it. Food was still piping hot when I'd say down to eat it, the portion was bigger than other Chinese, and to top of off, the portion of chicken was unreal! And fresh, no chewy chicken like the lantern! Absolutely beautiful and nicely priced 🥰 Well done Team Ocean Palace!

Ordered a takeaway directly through their app and was told delivery would take around 70 minutes. After 90 minutes, I called and was told it was “on the way.” Another 30 minutes later, I called again only to be told it was still in the kitchen! I decided to cancel the order and was met with nothing but attitude. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 8 years, but after this experience, I won’t be ordering again. Really disappointing.

10/12/2025: We went into Loftys for one on the way back to the hotel and ended up staying for 4. The Guinness is really good lofty the main man was serving, and what an absolute Gent he was we had a chat and a laugh. It wasn't that busy as it was a tuesday evening but I really enjoyed the few hrs spent there.
26/08/2025: Great pint of Guinness, Annie was very friendly and helpful, gave us advice on our onward journey.

20/08/2025: A small pub with character and they know how to pour a Guinness! A Guinness commercial was filmed here re: funeral for a dead television set. Laid back ambiance.
