13/09/2025: Taste is etraordinary. I compared it with Apache pizza in Castlebar, this one clearly stands out. Most importantly, its halal as well.

19/06/2025: The pints are the creamiest I’ve ever tasted and the long hallways are decorated with history. Some really nice characters in there early doors. British lad named Nathan surely knows his away around the pool table, him and his pal Mark gave us a right licking!

11/07/2025: I have been going to Susie since it was in Charlestown . I’d come in with my colleagues almost every Friday since it was literally a block away from our office. Their location in Charlestown has been replaced with a new café that does not compare to Susie‘s at all! Susie’s bistro never disappoints 🙌🏼🙌🏼 from the dishes they serve to the friendly service I always leave knowing I’ll be back. Even with Suzie’s Bistro changing locations from Charlestown to the Tubbecurry Golf Course the food and service has never changed😊 Still, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The new location is spacious and most of the time their tables are reserved. Thankfully, last time I came on a Friday with one of my colleagues there was a two seat table available for us. The amount of food that I had lasted me all day. It was a perfect meal. And of course, I will definitely be back in the future 🤤

10/06/2025: We had a wonderful stay with very friendly hosts and a beautiful homemade Irish breakfast. It is very close to Knock airport so made our journey very convenient. Would recommend if you are in the area.

18/02/2025: My husband and I had a wonderful few nights here looked after superbly by Anthony . The Full Irish was the best we’ve ever tasted with homemade bread and local produce. Endless pots of tea , fresh fruits , yoghurts , cereals and juices. The freshly baked scones were to die for ! Tea / coffee /biscuits always available in the gorgeous quirky sitting room. Our second visit here ( last one pre covid ) and so sorry the restaurant is now closed but plenty of lovely places to eat in Charlestown only a few minutes walk from the Riverside. We will definitely return as the location is perfect for visiting Knock Shrine and a few minutes from the airport .

28/08/2025: Disclaimer: I did not receive any kickback for this review. My family did the “Hawk Walk” experience at Mount Falcon. Incredible! Of course you can’t control the behavior & actions of birds, especially Birds of Prey. Daniel, the falconer was exceptional. He was great with our daughter, who also loved the experience. Daniel took time to introduce and explain each bird and their behavior. We were able to see 5 different birds eat, and walked through the woods with Hunter, the hawk. It was an unforgivable experience, for our daughter and my wife and I as well. 10/10

12/09/2025: I had a beautiful time at Delphi Resort. It’s such a calm and stunning place, surrounded by nature. The atmosphere is peaceful, the views are breathtaking, and it’s the perfect spot to relax and recharge. I would highly recommend Delphi Resort to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway.

08/07/2025: My wife and myself had gone to Westport for the day and took our dog with us. So shortly after lunch feeling a bit hungry I went into cosy Joe's to see if we could have something to eat. They told me that they had a beer garden out back and we could go there which was sort of closed in and take the dog with us.

11/10/2025: Got a take away here last night after a road trip, had to travel another 25mins after collecting it. Food was still piping hot when I'd say down to eat it, the portion was bigger than other Chinese, and to top of off, the portion of chicken was unreal! And fresh, no chewy chicken like the lantern! Absolutely beautiful and nicely priced 🥰 Well done Team Ocean Palace!

02/10/2025: Somewhat disappointing as first time buyers. Spent a while perusing the online menu before making our selections and scheduling a pick up time. When we got to the store, there was no record of our order and I was asked if I was sure that I had placed an order! "No, I'm just lying so as to cause confusion!" Perhaps a coffee could have been offered in lieu of the inconvenience for now having to hang around well after the scheduled pick up time?? The meal itself was ok'ish. Two lamb dishes - quite clear that lamb is simply added to the sauce/curry of your choice and not actually cooked in the sauce. Meat was tender but a bit flavourless. Garlic naan was lovely. The star of the show was the little tub of tomato and onion sambals.
