21/04/2025: Really nice pub with live music on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. But that's not really a pub for young people nor to find a lot of draft beers

18/03/2025: Absolutely shocking experience at this place. We arrived at around 1 o’clock on a Saturday afternoon, just looking for somewhere to watch the rugby. There were four of us, all sober, and we each ordered a drink. The pub was completely empty—no atmosphere, no other customers, nothing. Out of nowhere, the bar manager (or owner, not sure which) stormed over and started having a go at us for no reason. He was rude, aggressive, and seemed desperate to find an excuse to refuse us service. At one point, he even accused one of my friends of being drunk, despite the fact that none of us had even taken a sip of our drinks yet. It was bizarre, like he’d decided the second we walked in that he didn’t want us there and was just making stuff up. I’ve never experienced anything like it. If the place had been packed, I might have understood some stress, but it was dead—completely empty. You’d think they’d be glad for the business. Never mind had a much better afternoon watching the rugby somewhere else without giving complete edjits like himself the custom

18/02/2025: My husband and I had a wonderful few nights here looked after superbly by Anthony . The Full Irish was the best we’ve ever tasted with homemade bread and local produce. Endless pots of tea , fresh fruits , yoghurts , cereals and juices. The freshly baked scones were to die for ! Tea / coffee /biscuits always available in the gorgeous quirky sitting room. Our second visit here ( last one pre covid ) and so sorry the restaurant is now closed but plenty of lovely places to eat in Charlestown only a few minutes walk from the Riverside. We will definitely return as the location is perfect for visiting Knock Shrine and a few minutes from the airport .

07/01/2025: Great country pub serving a lovely pint of Guinness. Bar staff are attentive, a lovely fire keeping the place warm and sporting events on the TV's. What more could a visitor from Australia ask for.

13/04/2025: For dinner seated in dark poorly lit closed in area that had steps up to it even though we had a stroller! Window-lit booths at the front went empty. Food was average and pricey. Desserts disappointing. Room was pokey, not well-laid out and noisy from the corridor as was at the top of the stairs. Bathroom needs updating. Enquired about staying on another night (a Monday) and was quoted the same price as the weekend nights - short-sighted, decided against staying as a result. Difficult to get an answer on the reception. Wouldn’t choose to stay again.

10/05/2025: Terrible customer service from the manager Caroline. It takes little imagination to understand why the service culture at Mount Falcon is so poor. Just a few moments with the “manager” makes it easy. Rudeness as your first response is simply unacceptable and the owners should be ashamed someone as poor as her is driving this beautiful property into the ground.

29/10/2024: Nice place to shop. Never thought supervalue have this much options and offers and especially they have very good deli, oooo, thats yummy. Really delicious and made us stuffed😋😋😋😋. And at times you could find really great offers for whiskey👣👣and also on pampers.

28/04/2025: Very comfy, newly furbished looking bar with grrat craic to be had. Good.positioning of tv's for sport events or even to look.at Corrie. The staff are well able.to do their jobs. Recommend to call in for a quart
