18/05/2026: Have only done takeaway from Dawat and the food is always consistantly very good. Everything is always tasty not too spicy(well the dish I get) and hot, just very well flavored.

Downstairs you have paint and all accessories for kitchens,bathroom and living rooms. Cummins also a garden section with all the products you need to manage your garden

02/06/2026: I found this place, after spending time at the hospital and having not been to Castlebar for a while, i was heading to the coffee bar next door. I saw Rua and was drawn to going inside. Rua is a lovely little deli, selling fresh bread, baked goods, sandwiches and deli boxes along with your normal deli pickles, sauces, wine, meats and cheese, coffee, tinned items etc. Really good selection. The coffee is great and you get a little piece of shortbread with it too, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff are friendly, they have a great choice at reasonable deli prices. I am a coffee fan and everytime I visit the area, I struggle to find somewhere who can make a decent cortado. This is the best I've found, in Mayo. The whole carrot cake looked delicious and will be next on my list to try as well as the mint straciatella ice-cream. It's weird that it's the small things that make difficult situations slightly more bearable. Many people don't know how they impact on someone's day. After a rough few days, Rua was a haven for me and just a simple well-made coffee and a piece of shortbread can make such a huge difference. Thank you for doing what you do.

23/02/2026: Scones look delicious today but unfortunately were very dry and broke up like dust when I tried to butter them

30/06/2026: The hotel staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble to each and everyone of them,, the location was perfect right on the edge of town ,,the bedrooms were very comfortable and the decor was really nice attention to detail was excellent we will be back.

30/06/2026: There's a serious delay if you are just using it for fuel and want to get in and out going to pay they need a dedicated assistant for making ice creams and another serving the counter no queing system that pay area needs upgrading

18/09/2025: A great Diner for everbody who is looking for some greens and vegetable beside the meat! We enjoyed the amazing chicken wrap with a mixed salad after plenty of burgers, fish & chips and other heavy stuff the days before! Great and friendly service and very cheap prices! We will come back, whenever we will be in the near!

If you’re looking for a proper, top-tier takeaway with service to match, this is the only place to go. An absolute local gem!I actually had great intentions of taking pictures of the takeout bag and how well it was all laid out in the trays, but I was so hungry I just landed it on the plate and snapped one quick photo before I got stuck in. I didn't have time to dress it up or make it look fancy, but it tasted incredible!
