We stopped because we needed a quick meal. We were glad we did. As Americans visiting Ireland for the first time, we can honestly say these burgers and chips (fries) were some of best we've had.

Hadn't had food from here for years. It was very disappointing as the food was poisoned with salt. It was like they had an assembly line approach to getting food out & the food was salted by everyone involved.

O'Hehirs Bakery & Cafe Castlebar

19/09/2026: Our first experience as we've recently moved to the area and staff were incredible. We got caught in the last minute rush but they were happy to take their time and go through options with us. Really welcoming really patient. The coffee was delicious and the cakes were beautiful. The scone was the nicest scone I've ever had we will most certainly be back! Went in for a coffee left with lots of treats thank you!
