We stopped because we needed a quick meal. We were glad we did. As Americans visiting Ireland for the first time, we can honestly say these burgers and chips (fries) were some of best we've had.

Hadn't had food from here for years. It was very disappointing as the food was poisoned with salt. It was like they had an assembly line approach to getting food out & the food was salted by everyone involved.

The Ellison

08/11/2025: Wow! An amazing hotel and 10/10 hospitality from the staff. Traveling with a baby can be nerve wracking but the staff at the hotel did everything to make our stay comfortable and kid friendly. Will definitely be back.
06/11/2025: One star off for instant coffee sachets in the room and a tin pot of coffee at breakfast I.e no decent coffee to be had. Otherwise decent hotel.
