06/10/2025: After this wonderful place was recommended by several locals we decided to try it at last. Blue Serenade did not disappoint. The food was exceptional lovely flavours fresh and wholesome. Wonderful presentation. Great value for money. Easy parking. Peter who looked after us was so chatty helpful attentive as provided exceptional service. This place has exceptional reviews has a great reputation in the town for its service great food and ambience. Peter the owner treats everyone who comes through the door in a lovely courteous genuine and professional manner. A wonderful hidden gem in Castlebar.

20/10/2025: I recently stayed in Ballina Manor Hotel. Perfect central location, Rooms were spotless and both the beds and pillows were top quality. The En-suite was so clean it looked new. Reception Staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant staff were efficient and the food was to die for. I like my food and this was top quality. The night porter was on hand to let us back into the hotel at the early o' clock hours - there was no delays or waiting. Overall, a fabulous hotel in the Heart of Ballina. Couldn't recommend it enough. Will definitely stay there again.

We rolled up to this place after a long day exploring, and let me tell you—the view over Clew Bay is somethin’ else. Picture postcard kinda pretty. We snagged a seat by the window and just soaked in that wild Atlantic beauty with a pint in hand. Now the staff? Top-notch. These folks know their stuff when it comes to the local area. Ask ‘em anything—from the history of the islands to the best hidden hikes—and they’ll give you the whole rundown with a smile and a story or two. Food? Lord have mercy. This ain’t your run-of-the-mill tourist trap grub. We’re talkin’ fresh, home-cooked meals that taste like your Irish granny finally gave up her secret recipes. Every bite was a hug from the kitchen. Don’t skip the Reuben—it’s a flavor-packed masterpiece. And speaking of Reubens—turns out Joey was right (and boy, he’ll remind ya). It did come from New York, not Chicago like I swore up and down. Guess I owe him a pint and a public apology. Here it is, buddy. You win this round. In short: stunning views, warm-hearted folks, food that hits you right in the soul. Don’t think twice. Go.

22/09/2025: The food was okay 1st time, that's why I chose this restaurant again for a takeaway on 20/09/2025. I ordered food for 40 Euro. But, very disappointed this time. The biryani that I ordered was not even cooked well. It's very sad that we order food for this much price and it is not tasty and good to eat.

24/08/2025: I love Indian food so I tried this place whilst in Clairemorris and it was delicious, I ordered on the app for collection at 9.45 and it was on time when I arrived.

12/10/2025: Amazing venue for a wedding great wedding coordinator makela knows how to make a special day even more special. She listens to what you want and delivers with no issues. All staff at the hotel are helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. The views from r very part of the hotel is breathtaking

29/08/2025: So good. We ordered the soup and toasted sandwich deal with a few crisps for €10 each. Seriously delicious, quick service and filling. Would definitely come back.

21/07/2025: Food was good and got all our questions answered by the staff. Also offered alternative meals. Only issue was the cleanliness of the place. 4 members of staff chatting behind the counter while leftovers from previous customer were left all over the tables. Floors could have done with some sweeping as well.

09/07/2025: All just normal fast food just like mcdonalds but i love the chicken nuggets and chips there i love the papa johns pizzas there there is a few pictures on the wall and 1 or 2 tv's

12/08/2025: I tried the lemon muffin, but it was a bit on the dry side for my taste. However, the pistachio cheesecake was nice. Overall, a good spot for a sweet treat!
