03/11/2024: Great spot for a night out in Achill. Great staff, good pints, music in the evening and a good mixed clientele. Great craic.

09/10/2024: Great Guinness. Nice bar. Newly renovated, preferred the old version of it but it's a great spot in keel

13/09/2024: We were staying in Breaffy for a week with young kids and this place was perfect for us for lunches and dinner. Good variety of food and the staff are all excellent and clearly well trained. Mairead in particular went above and beyond for the kids especially which we really appreciated. Keep up the good work guys.

31/07/2024: Great lunch here after SPA in Breaffy. Mairead seated us and was so attentive throughout our time here. Got the wrap and wings and we were delighted with all. Will definitely be back very soon 😊

24/07/2024: 2.5/5. We were looking forward to eating here after reading great reviews but unfortunately it wasn't a good experience for us. The restaurant wasn't very busy but there was a table of six ladies near us who were so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. Service was slow but Lachlan did look after us well. There was a table next to us that was left uncleared for the whole evening. We had a prawn starter to share which was good. My husband had steak and veg which he was happy with. I ordered Carticco - seafood pasta. The seafood was ok although I didn't eat a few mussels because they weren't fully open. But the pasta was too thick and heavy. I make far nicer pasta at home all the time. I left most of it. Disappointing for our last night in Westport. Lachlan took it off the bill which we appreciate. I was going to try a dessert but didn't after that.

07/06/2024: After hiking diamond hill at the Connemara np we had starters for dinner. Delicious. avocado and prawns, bruschetta, ravioli, and garlic bread Italian style. Mmmmmmm. Perfecto!

13/09/2024: Collected our order, a meal for 4 celebrating our daughters 17th birthday today. When we got the food home, it was the totally wrong order. Called Alisan and told them the issue. Told them they could deliver the order to our house as we were not going to travel down again as THEY MADE THE MISTAKE AND GAVE US THE WRONG FOOD. A few mins later they called us back and told us we would have to pay €12 for the food to be delivered. They have made SO MANY MISTAKES in the past. We will NEVER order food from Alisan again!

22/10/2024: Excellent quality fresh Asian food

26/08/2024: DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. On Saturday night my family ordered a takeaway from this restaurant and could not have had a more unpleasant and dangerous experience. We clearly notified the restaurant that one of our children has a severe peanut allergy, which was clearly written on our receipt. They proceeded to send all of the food with peanuts on, and in the food. In addition to this, they also sent a vegetation nasi goreng dish with satay chicken and prawn in the dish. The correct food eventually arrived over 2 hours later and after 5 phone calls, over the course of 4 days, we were offered €20 euros off of our next order or a refund of the incorrect dishes. The potentially deadly situation has been dealt with in a shocking manner and they clearly have no value for their customer’s safety, whatsoever. I would urge anyone to seriously consider avoiding this establishment, and it goes without saying, we will never be returning.
