31/07/2025: Probably the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Over done fish and the chips tasted like they were refried as they were as hard as cardboard. Very disappointing. We are locals and will never go back. And I agree now with the guy who posted about it having a strange taste. Update: the owner’s ridiculous response (attempt at humour?) is insulting. Cardboard-like chips and overcooked fish (as can be seen in the picture, NOT sausages), there is no excuse for. How about may be taking feedback on the chin and trying to improve your awful establishment? Your staff weren’t very nice either. Try being better at your customer service!

11/05/2025: All the kebabs had to much salt in them and when I asked on one of them to be a small portion they gave me no garlic which I asked for garlic’s on all 3 I paid €53.80 for the meals and very disappointed paid for to much salt and no garlic

07/08/2025: Unreal crispy chicken and the biggest spring rolls!

07/08/2025: Incredible food. Was up for the weekend and went twice!! Had chilli chicken which was class, then had the chicken curry on Saturday. Spring rolls were biggest I've seen and delicious.

29/11/2025: Chef forgot to cook one of our main courses. Chips were cooked in oil possibly a week old. Waitress was more interested in being on her phone than looking after diners. An awful restaurant and terrible service. SHOCKING WITH A CAPITAL S. JUST AWFUL. AVOID . AVOID. AVOID.

06/10/2025: Visited with my family for my birthday. First Chinese since moving to Ireland last year. Food was great although rice side dishes were a little small. Staff were fantastic but the time between starts and main was quite long which was good for my 2 grandchildren.

22/11/2025: At this point I'm a regular at Supermacs as it is my go to place for a burger and chips. With that being said, one day when it was delivered we were missing chips and every other day that we ordered from the app but went inside to collect, we either did not have one of two drinks or no forks given. Honestly that was grand, I could get over that because I love your taco fries and chicken breast sandwich. But after what happened yesterday? No, I won't be returning to this place. 21/11/2025 at around 5pm, I and my partner went inside and ordered. The order was two large/max chicken breast sandwich meals with taco fries, water and a fanta. I am an overthinker so I made sure to do the math on your app beforehand. The total normally would be €31.40 but I had a coupon of €2 making it €29.40 which is what I paid at the counter. Upon receiving the order I looked through the bag which had a receipt attached (I wasn't given one at the till) and I noticed that 1. There was only one taco fries and it was a medium 2. There was a small bag of plain fries 3. The fanta was a medium. I checked the receipt and found that it did have the correct food items on it that I said at the counter, but it was labelled as regular instead of max/large. The price however was still €29.40 like it was from my previous calculation. I thought it was just a mistake so I went to the counter. There was an older man, in a different shirt to everyone else so I'm assuming he is a manager. When I pointed out the mistakes he was incredibly rude to me and spoke loudly for everyone else to hear. He simply wouldn't listen to what I was saying. When I mentioned the plain chips, he jabbed at my receipt and loudly said "plain chips" as if that is what it said but it did not. When I showed the app on my phone where it said the price of the max meal, he said "that's a regular " again, no it was not. He then preceded to grab the plain chips from my bag and say "okay I'll give you one large taco fries". This man spoke to me like he was doing me a favor? I was shocked silent and left embarrassed as everyone was looking and heard the exchange where he made me look like an utter idiot who was just causing a fuss. He also took my receipt with him as he walked away. Well thank you Supermacs, despite my love for your food, if I end up crying in a car after a takeaway I think it's the wrong place to go.

18/10/2025: Ordered online which was easy to use and went smoothly. Ordered a pizza with black olives on one side and pepperoni on the other as my partner doesn't eat pork. When it arrived we found that the pizza was covered all over with pepperoni and not a sight of olive. I called 6 times with no answer.

28/07/2025: Delighted I stopped off in the village and visited. Lovely traditional pub with character. Was reasonably quiet but it was a Sunday night. Just got the end of a trad session that happens every Sunday evening. Had a nice chat with Greg behind the bar. I'll certainly call another time.

20/07/2025: A really cute pub, can clearly see a lot of effort has been made with the decor inside and in the courtyard/beer garden area too - very appreciated. ✨

07/11/2025: Went in to order a takeaway, was never in here before.. I was greeted with “what did you order” not a hi hello or anything. Then when the girl with me ordered, he looked at me “will you order together quick” . I had to tell him cancel the order as it was rude! And I’ll never step foot in there again after being spoken to like. Came across so rude as if he didn’t want custom. If it was close to closing time, then change closing time if he doesn’t want to wait there till 11.

02/11/2025: We went to this restaurant last bank holiday. The ambience was nice and the staff were good. But the food that was served to us was very disappointing. We only got 2 spring rolls, 4 prawn toasts, tiger prawn curry, spicy chicken burger. In total it came over 61euros. We had a bit higher expectations for the food quality or quantity due to the high priced rates in this restaurant. Not worth of your money to spend here.

23/12/2025: They were tasty ♡ ⁠ꨆꨲ◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠ However, I find it inconvenient to have to enter the PIN when I go to the toilet.
